Wrongly combined edition?

Hi,

so, this Edda version: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

is combined with a lot of English -and other language - versions, yet it is - as far as I understand it - not a translation from an English translation, but a reworking of Karl Simrock's German translation. Not sure if any of the other's used this one as a basis, but I somehow doubt it.

Manfred Stange is listed as Herausgeber, which would be the editor?

The blurb also is in English, the one on the cover reads like this:

Goodreads policy is to combine the base work and his different editions/translations.

From the librarian manual:

"do combine:
...
Editions/translations of the book in other languages. Even though many translations differ significantly, we've made the decision to combine them all, and have people note the differences in their reviews."
...
