The book is about a young boy who moves into this mansion of his relatives and comes to find out from maids and people working at the mansion that another boy his age used to live there they call him "Master Colin" and he is now dead, but he starts to communicate with the boy and becomes his friend. Also, Colin had a horse who is now a ghost as well, Colin and the boy talk and share secrets.
