That's good news. Let me know any imperfections. The KDP report says 51 units shipped in the first week, mostly paperbacks. I've set up an ebook promotion message to a popular mailing list on Wednesday.

Thank you so much for putting all this together and getting more interesting stories out there. I can't wait to delve into my copy.

Thanks Carolyn! I still haven't seen it and I want to check the font size is okay. That's the only thing I'm worried about.

Well, don't worry, it was only a chance. There will be more. :-)

Congratulations on the second place in the contest.

Congratulations! Which contest was it?

Thank you.
Now you made me want to talk about it more. It was a pretty interesting contest. Here's more about the actual details:

Didn't see your message there. The 2020 Cosmos Prize: rewrite the ending of the serial science fiction novel Cosmos. See the links in my last reply.
Hi all,
I got my book and started reading. So far, 4 stories down and liking what I've read. Hoping the rest of the book is as good or better.

Is it perhaps time to start thinking about the charity that the (eventual) proceeds will donated to? I'd suggest something Covid related. What does everybody think?

By the way, there is a hashtag #WritersInLockdown" - so lots of company. I posted a tweet this morning from Amazon:

I agree it should be covid-related. Is there a charity helping survivors who will have to go on living with the lung damage it causes? It could be a fair wait before the book moves into profit because I set the lowest retail price I could, with about a 30 cent or 20p margin on each paperback. Sales are going well by word of mouth from people who have read it but paid advertising to reader lists didn't work.

I was thinking that the charity angle is something we can use when advertising, too, but I didn't realise the margin with printed copies was so small.
A couple more Covid ideas - people with mental health problems and/or new child poverty in marginalised countries.
M.L. thanks for the #writersinlockdown hint. I will be using that going forward with any tweets. So far I've only read a few of the stories, all good. word-of-mouth it is, and I'll be one spreading the word.
Stay well.
Stay well.
I read a few more last night. Wow, every story has been good. I think I'll end up being the weak link here so just happy I got it.
One of the stories I read last night was by Stephen Mills. Really good but I don't see a bio for him in the book. Are you on here? Curious to find out what else you might have written.
All the best to everyone. Stay well.

Hi J. Stephen Mills has a bio hidden in there somewhere. He is the author of Devil's Cohort and Isleman, which went on my TBR list after reading his short story.
The Devil's Cohort

Cool Hakon. Happy reading!

Hi Faith,
Thanks for the info on Mr. Mills. I have the print book edition and I still can't find his bio. I will follow up though thanks to your link.
Have a great day and stay well.

Hi J., I have the paperback as well. Hint, it's right before your bio but doesn't start with author name. :)

Ah, I was just logging in to say that.

I finally put a little something on my instagram account. I found that I was (as far as I could tell) the first person here to use the #writersinlockdown hashtag (though I know that Dale did put up a photo of the book a little while ago).
And Faith, I hashtagged you but I don't think any of the other Faith Jones were you... were they?
Last but not least, while I still haven't read all the stories I have come across at least two now that I thought were very funny. I'm looking at you, Faith and at Adam Corres. Well done, youse ;)

Hi Dan. The anthology has already been published but if you send me your email address, I will let you know if I do another one.
