It is likely that you have an alternative cover for this edition. Since there are so many editions of this book, it would help if you could scan the cover and the copyright page of your copy and load the images to your profile in Goodreads. This would a librarian to research.
Well, I don't know if I did the right thing, but I just uploaded the things you asked for in my profile, don't know if that means that a librarian could help research the issue. They are not only alternative covers, the number of pages also differ and, from what I gathered, the edition currently being presented is from 1992, not 1993.
There are a few copies with your cover on ABEbooks. Here is a couple of examples:https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/Book...

Does your copy have an introduction by David Ellis?
It has a two-page introduction but the author isn't specified in the edition.Hope some librarian can clear this matter up
So I found an edition with the same page count as yours and no cover. It appears that the publisher has republished this book several times 1993 using the same ISBN but that the page count has varied. Here is the edition that matches your book.https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

ISBN 1-85326-052-5 is a Wordsworth Classics edition with 804 pages, published in 1993, which has a cover featuring a carriage drawn by a single horse being chased by a dog, a picture made by Cecil Aldin called "The Pickwickians start from the Bull Hotel at Rochester".
Could anyone fix this please?
