Luke (korrick) Her autobiography is amazing. Also, let's have some love for New Zealand writers.

Russell | 44 comments I'm very interested in Janet Frame's works. I think it was through reading one of your wonderful reviews Aubrey that I found my way to grabbing her Autobiographical series recently. That and the fact that Jane Campion made a movie based on those books. I could probably read them or one of her others, as we have a few on the shelves at work (a library).

Kris (krisrabberman) I need to read more books by Frame.

I read that one and definitely found it intriguing.

Sarah | 1 comments I would love to read some Janet Frame, who has always been on my list. In the Memorial Room sounds like something I could get into.

Take a peak at Patricia Grace as well, if interested in New Zealand writers. Keri Hulme, of course, also.

Cynthia Dunn I'm also interested in Faces in the Water.

Yolande (sirus) I actually have a book by Janet Frame on my to-read list: The Carpathians. Doubt I'll get to it in 2015 though.

message 12: by Kris (new)

Kris (krisrabberman) I may try to read her trilogy of autobiographies in 2015, as well as possibly a novel. For those of you who are looking for short story collections, Between My Father and the King: New and Uncollected Stories is a good collection, recently published.

Diane Barnes I've got "To the Is-land" waiting for me on my shelf. It's starting to make noises at me.
