Hi Naomi - I looked up the first couple of book titles in your series, but none of them are listed as Cozy Mystery under the Genre section. I do not see Cozy Mystery in the Genre listing for any of your author's series.Unfortunately the link where the authors are listed is very misleading. Not all of them write cozy mystery series.
Look at some of the book titles that have been posted in the reporting thread to get an idea of some of the series that can be used.
I added two recipes to my post in the reporting thread. There's Candlenut Chicken Curry and Ginger Lemongrass Doctail. Both sound pretty reasonable - I may try them sometime.
I want to visit my old Friend Hamish Macbeth. I picked up an audio book at a garage sale a long time ago. It has nothing but the cassettes. Yes I did say cassettes. I am pretty sure this is a cozy. Can anyone verify that Death of a Snob by Beaton is a cozy?

Don't laugh, but I still have some books on cassettes tape too. Enjoy your Hamish listen. :o)
I have already started. It is funny how much comfort I get from series books. It really is like visiting an old friend
Finally going to start my read for the challenge. I'm definitely going with Lethal Bayou Beauty. I think it's just what I'm in the mood for right now. I'm looking forward to laughing at their antics.
Making progress on Lethal Bayou Beauty and it is just what I need right now. I was telling Craig at dinner that he should read the series because it is really funny and he would enjoy it and G said he heard me laughing while I was cooking dinner. He was in the next room. haha

Janice wrote: "Kristie wrote: "Making progress on Lethal Bayou Beauty and it is just what I need right now. It's really quite witty.
I finished Lethal Bayou Beauty. I'm so glad I read this right now. It's so funny and exactly what I was in the mood for. I told Craig he needs to read them too because he'll love them and I need someone to discuss with. Thanks for setting this up, Janice. Now I need to wait before diving into the third book!I also need to move Trouble in Mudbug up my TBR. I don't think they're related at all, but I didn't realize they were written by the same author until she mentioned Mudbug in Lethal Bayou Beauty.
Kristie wrote: "OMG, Janice, the part at the hotel!! Too funny! And then them discussing his underwhelming manhood. "It's been a long time since I had one so close to my face." I was dying. The comments are too..."
I thought it was in the second book... or maybe it's the 3rd book. I just remember laughing so hard, I almost wet the bed.
I'm glad you enjoyed the book, Kristie. They're good for lifting one's spirit.

It needs to have "cozy" on the main book page on Goodreads. See General Rule #2 in message 1.
