Aha! So you guzzle coffee?

message 157: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments Ha ha! I would not say "guzzle", but I do enjoy it. Actually Starbucks is not my favourite, but if the other shops have gone bust I will have to go there. I will find out on Monday.

What happens on Monday? Not taking a collection for Starbucks are we?

message 159: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments On Monday the "non-essential" shops re-open. But how can coffee suppliers be non-essential ???

Sorry to hear that. Here, pre covid, the coffee shops were well occupied. Sometimes it was difficult to find a seat.

World COVID Count
The world has seen more than 7.4 million reported cases of the coronavirus as of Thursday afternoon. At least 417,700 people have died.

In many places, the virus has only now arrived, with ever-increasing numbers of cases and deaths. https://t.co/dselW1XYCM

Hooray! Tomorrow Greggs re-opens. But I fear the torrential rain and lightning strikes may prevent me from visiting it.
