eventyr | 4 comments I remember being a teen so about mid 2000's, but the book appeared to be 80's or 90's. It was one of my mum's books and it was a fantasy. The book was essentially this girl who lived in a citadel who was eventually sent to live with a priestess of sorts. The priestess I remember eventually dies, and if I'm remembering correctly her tower crumbles when she does? I don't remember in which order, but I do remember that the girl does go on a quest and at some stage she's on a boat on a river with a boy, and the boat capsizes and I believe there's mention of redcaps or kappas? There is also mention in the book of how she possesses this magical box that plays music when the sun hits it or when you turn it to a specific side. I've been dying to re-read this book for years, because I remember reading it so much that it fell apart, but it's been so long I can't remember the title. I do know that it was part of a trilogy and that the trilogy followed three priestesses/witch sisters, and I do believe one of the titles had the word black in it. Please help! Thanks in advance!

eventyr | 4 comments Ok so I also believe the book had a snowy mountain scape cover with a tower? I can't 100% remember if the tower was on it, but it was definitely a snowy mountain.

I believe it was for adults. It wasn't necessarily told from an adult point of view, but I believe it was adult. It was similar to Mists of Avalon I guess.
