Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 424 comments sorry I also had to edit Pothos' template to add her as one of his aunts. Good things god's don't have DNa or otherwise that would be a huge inbred family...lol...they wouldn't be half as perfect as they are.

I think we could work something out...but how would we work it out?
She is more war-like which is good, because Ares liked Pothos enough to give him a bow and arrow while Aphrodite not so much.

Pothos himself is frightened to experience true love because well he believes himself the worst aspect of desire ever to be born.

message 205: by [deleted user] (new)

Hmm... I'm not exactly sure how to work it out. But yeah, she is much more like her father.

message 206: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 424 comments We can always wing it?

message 207: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 424 comments Pothos is now approved you amy check him out in male character's to get to know a small bit abotu him.

message 208: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm always a personal fan of winging it so we can start off like that.

And I'll check him out right away.

message 209: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 424 comments okay... ^_^ I'll check your charrie out as well I liekt o read every details o give me at least five minutes.

message 210: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay! And if there is anything I need to change, let me know!

message 211: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 424 comments I like her because she isn't complex to figure out...Both her and Pothos share a common ground where they both love their family dearly, but at the same time do not feel such loyalties returned.

message 212: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks! I like all the detail you put into Pothos.

message 213: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 424 comments thnx not much is known abotu him because he is simply a personification more than an actual god so it was hard to find much about him I had to take all the stories I knew abotu him and the Erotes and mix them all up into one perfection that makes some sense.

message 214: by [deleted user] (new)

Dang, that's commitment lol.

message 215: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 424 comments So post somewhere and I can follow...or I can post somewhere.

I have Eros?

message 223: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 424 comments OO that could be interesting....How would you like to play it out?

message 224: by Hayley, God of the Seas (new)

Hayley | 473 comments Mod
Eros isn't the sanest of characters and now lives in the mortal world...Oh and he's hung up on Apollo. So I would say a sexual relationship to start with that turns into more.

message 225: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 424 comments sounds good to me but how can it turn into more if he is stuck up on Apollo...???

message 226: by Hayley, God of the Seas (new)

Hayley | 473 comments Mod
He'll get conflicting feelings... It will confuse him and probably make him a little more insane but eventually he will realise all he feels for Apollo is infatuation.

message 227: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 424 comments OO interesting I can sense a spark of jealousy rising too because thanatos isn't big on Apollo period...he doesn't like anything abotu him and considers him a cheat and a trickster more so than Hermes because Apollo attempted to cheat death for a mortal...Herakles ended up battling him and their relationships have all been on a thin line since.

message 228: by Hayley, God of the Seas (new)

Hayley | 473 comments Mod
Sounds good :) Would said mortal be Hyacinth by any chance?

message 229: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 424 comments no actually but that would be interesting if it was.

King Admetus was granted by the Fates the privilege of living past the allotted time of his death. The Fates were persuaded to allow this by the god Apollo (who got them drunk). This unusual bargain was struck after Apollo was exiled from Olympus for nine years and spent the time in the service of the Thessalian king, a man renowned for his hospitality who treated Apollo well. Apollo wishes to repay Admetus' hospitality and offers him freedom from death. The gift, however, comes with a price: Admetus must find someone to take his place when Death comes to claim him.
The time of Admetus' death comes and he still has not found a willing substitute. His father, Pheres, is unwilling to step in and thinks that it is ludicrous that he should be asked to give up the life he enjoys so much as part of this strange deal. Finally, Admetus' devoted wife Alcestis agrees to be taken in his place because she wishes not to leave her children fatherless or be bereft of her lover.

Thanatos challenges Apollo's apparent defense of Alcestis and accuses him of "twisting slippery tricks" when he helped Admetus cheat death in the first place.Apollo reassures him and, in a passage of swift stichomythic banter, proposes a postponement of Alcestis' death, which is sarcastically rebuffed. "For once," Thanatos concludes, "you may not have what is not yours." Defeated, Apollo leaves angrily, prophesying the arrival of a man (Heracles) who will wrestle Alcestis away from Death. Thanatos warns that "this was a god of many words; but words / are not enough."
In the end Herakles saves the girl from the Underworld and wrestles Thanatos t do so.

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 74 comments Maybe something between Icarus and Tyche?

message 238: by Hayley, God of the Seas (new)

Hayley | 473 comments Mod
Sure :) What were you thinking?

message 239: by sucre'd fiend (new)

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 74 comments Maybe he seeks favor from her? Since he wants to sort of trick one of the other gods. And maybe she's not aware of this, either.

message 240: by Hayley, God of the Seas (new)

Hayley | 473 comments Mod
Sounds good :) Want her to be his Patron Goddess? So she basically favours him.

message 241: by sucre'd fiend (new)

HYPNOS ( hugh dancy )
Over the years, Hypnos has become quite...unwell. His mental state is crumbling faster these days, and his plans for domination over Olympus are forming just a little faster. There may also have been an interesting debacle with an immortal son of Zeus, but the only gods who have so much as a clue as to who did it were there. That would include Hypnos.
. open to allies, defo.
. enemies are a must, so yeah.
. uhm, literally no other ideas for him, so yeah.

LETO ( yuna zarai )
The goddess of motherhood, modesty, and light is pregnant--again. The father of the child, however, is unknown. She's been known to be a favorite lover of Zeus, so there is plenty of speculation as to who the father might be. Only problem is Hera, and her hatred towards Leto. So, no one says a thing.
. those who have Zeus, Hera, Apollo, and Artemis, please PM me. Because she's the mother of the twins, Hera hates her, and Zeus...was hoping they'd have a secret thing going, but not exclusively.
. open to lovers, as she'll need one as a cover-up or the actual father of her children.
. open to other ideas, too.

ROTH ( dylan o'brien )
Roth is a little too curious about the gods for his own good. He's studied up on them all, knows them by heart. Some would call it a bit of an obsession, but he has other ideas for it: he wants to be immortal. Not to rule the world, but simply to be there for the documentation of the world's end.
. open to pretty much anything; I have like no ideas for him aside from above.

URANIA ( lianne la havas )
The muse of astronomy, she's pretty much got her head in the clouds at all times. There isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't think of something profoundly space related. Like that new idea of bending time in space.
. open to pretty much anything because again I have no ideas for her.

ICARUS ( jake falahee )
Unlike the poor fellow he's named after, Icarus is a successful conman. He's always on the lookout for the next big score, and this new idea might just be his ticket to rolling in riches from the gods--quite literally. As Tyche is now his patron goddess, he can only say that the future looks quite bright.
. was hoping that he might try to con his way into the favor of the gods, so if anyone wants to have their god tricked by him, or be involved with his con, lemme know.
. was also hoping someone could make him a nymph girlfriend/mortal boyfriend, or maybe both. Thinking he might not be an exclusive sort of guy.

DEMETER ( shanina shaik )
goddess of the harvest. Likely to be super diligent, or just a very busy type of god. Probably a little sickly to reflect the current state of harvests around the world. Maybe blames the gods responsible for storms and such for her current state.
. whoever has Persephone and Hades, please PM me. I kinda wanna get a whole family thing going on.
. open for other things, as well.

HELIOS ( alfred enoch )
god of sun and sight, guardian of oaths. A very loyal god, very biased. He might side with Zeus in his grief, but I'm thinking he'll be misguided at some point.
. whoever would like to could use their god to get him as an ally.
. was thinking there would be some animosity between him and Apollo, since his place as sun god is sort of displaced with Apollo around.

MELPOMENE ( sky ferreira )
the muse of tragedy, with a long and tragic love life. possibly has a string of lovers/friends that all have very sad endings--deaths--that happen one way or another.
. open to lovers and friends, but not likely to be too attached
. open to other ideas

ANUBIS ( samuel larsen )
Anubis is a wayward mortal prince--probably of a small country with an incredibly difficult name to pronounce. He's just learning of all the foreign gods, but doesn't quite believe they exist like the natives do.
. open to an oblivious friendship with a god/dess
. was thinking he might also be looking for a wife/another addition to his royal harem, so he might fall for a nymph, muse, or goddess
. open to other ideas

THALIA ( ashley smith )
muse of comedy and bucolic poetry. was thinking she might seem like the bumpkin out of the bunch, the oddball. Maybe the runt that no one really likes to talk about, but is still trying to be friends with basically everyone.
. open to pretty much anything

FERDINAND ( tyler posey )
The totally adorable, slightly slow satyr that tries his hardest at everything his does. Sometimes he gets good results, but most times he gets himself into trouble.
. open to pretty much anything

NARISSA ( fan bingbing )
Lampade--underworld--nymph set on tricking mortals to their doom. She's a firm believer in Hades being ruler over all the gods, and usually voices as much. Very self-centered, but loyal enough to get by.
. open to pretty much anything.

So, something with them being bffs?
Or there could be a rift because Zeus?

message 246: by sucre'd fiend (new)

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 74 comments Zeus is supposed to have pursued both of them, so maybe something with that?

message 248: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 424 comments I am working on Zelus, God of Envy, Zeal, and Rivalry. Son of Styx and Pallas, Fourth Generation Titan. He is dark and demented as he whispers envious thoughts into the ears of the Olympians enjoying the darkened aspects of war on Olympus. His mother styx joined the Olympians in the Titan War to ensure the safety of her children as well as herself. Her children were rewarded with the high honor of becoming Zeus' Retinue. Zelus would have gladly fallen into allegiance with his father, Pallas and joined the Titans, but was urged by his mother to remain out of the pits of Tartarus. That did not stop Zelus from holding an Envy of his own jealous of the god's and ashamed to be in aid with them he works in secret under their noses to stir troubles. Anytime an argument is started between two people or two nations or anyone. Zelus is the reasoning as it is his way to stir up Envy and Rivalry against the god's.
