Barb | 24 comments Sorry fir being AWOL hear. I work in healthcare purchasing (anyone know where I can buy some masks???? šŸ˜‰). It’s been a bit hectic!

But amidst the craziness, I’m seeing, and experiencing the comfort only a triune God can provide. Definitely a timely book choice.

The ā€œcord of three strandsā€ is typically presented in marriage but the Trinity is also a string cord of three and that cord is what holds us.

Since reading this book I’m seeing 3s everywhere! Anyone else having that experience? There’s the obvious St Patrick’s Day clover, but then there’s Adam, Eve, and God in the garden, tulip’s 3 petals (a Godly nod to Calvin, perhaps??), tripods. I’ve even noticed more tricycles than usual!

Most thought provoking in these chapters was bottom
of page 69 ā€œBut WHY did the Father send his Son?ā€ Beyond John 3:16 is John 17:25-26. Reeves says ā€œ But that the love the Father eternally had for the Son might be in those who believe in him, and that we might enjoy the Son as the Father always has. Here then is a salvation no single person God could offer even if they wanted toā€¦ā€
