I had feminism. I wouldn't change anything if I were allowed. This book was staged quite some time ago when things were very obviously different and there was still a lot of " white male" being the top of the top. There were plenty of examples of this in the book, and I wouldn't change it.

I have psycho-analysis and there are SOME examples in the book, BUT they are often hidden in your own opinion and not concrete enough. I wish I could switch to feminism because that of all theories is the most prevalent and obvious to spot out examples.
I had feminism. I thought that throughout the book that there were some great examples. I would not change anything. Its not that hard to comprehend.
I had the lens theory of feminism and I thought that the book had a lot of opportunities to get some quotes for that topic. I did find many connections that were very detailed and I found some that were not. I think that if I could change it I would choose to keep the one I had because there were examples of feminism all throughout the book. I think that out of the lens theory's that were given that the feminism one was the easiest.
I had modernism and I didnt really have any issues with it. I wouldnt say it was the easiest topic but it wasnt to hard either. The easiest topic would be feminism because you can always point those things out easier i think.
My lens theory was psych-analysis. throughout the book there were many examples that could have easily been connected back to my theory! If I had to say what lens theory I think would be the easiest, I'd choose feminism because there were tons of examples spread out through the chapters.
I found that there was a fair amount of modernism in this book. Tom especially had a lot of connections to the theory. I think that feminism is the easiest by far, but i don't know if i'd change because I havent taken any notes on it.
When I first found out that I had psycho-analysis I thought it would be hard because I had fallen asleep when we were reading. But towards the end of the book it was easy to say that Gatsby was crazy for Daisy. If I could change my lens theory now, I wouldn't cause I found it was really easy.
I had Marxism as a lens theory and the connection in the book is that Gatsby basically became of son of god, divorced his parents so he could go live the "American Dream". I think that the easiest one to find examples from would be modernism, there was a lot of examples of it.
I have modernism. It doesn't show a lot of quotes about the topic. Only when Tom is is speaking at some points is when this theory becomes relevant. Modernism is still rich in this book I believe with more than just theories, but with the overall setting.
I chose feminism before starting the book and I don't think I would change it. I found more than enough connections to it because it was a big part of the book.
I had modernism and my connections in the book are that Nick is coming back from the war and he is seeing how the world is changing. He is seeing that the world he left was very different then the one is coming back too.
I believe the most dangerous person is still Tom. He is moody, angry, violent and has many reasons to act out against many people. He could hurt daisy very much. Let alone nick and Jordan. There are many people he could goAfter that have something against him.
My opinion was correct! As I thought Daisy would cause trouble for everyone! (I've seen the movie I don't see any difference from book)Daisy just become a hassle after the affair started.
Modernism was not the strongest lens theory in the book, that's for sure. But I have at least four usable quotes. Feminism would've been the better choice. By far.
I had Modernism and there was not as much as I'd hope there would be in this book. It was harder to find things on modernism throughout the book. If I had to change my i would choose feminism because there is plenty of that in the book.
I had feminism, and I think that there was a lot of feminism in the book. I honestly wouldn't change it to anything else because I found so many quotes for feminism.
I had Psycho analysis. I thought the book represented more along feminism and possibly Marxism. Finding other psycho-logic evidence within the book was really difficult on my book.
i had Marxism and i think Feminism would be the easiest because there is so much in The Great Gatsby.
i have feminism and I think it was very easy to find quotes in the book. I would not want to change my theory only because it was so easy to find everything. The majority of the book was really based on feminism.
Marxism, what I chose and what I will stick with, GG represents every bit of wealth, greed, and corruption that Marxism stands against.
As someone with psycho-analysis, there was a lot to take away from The Great Gatsby. Jay Gatsby not only suffers from post traumatic stress disorder, but he seems to think that life stopped five years ago when he left to join the American Army. He's emancipated himself from his parents, able to think that he would be able to fetch his "one true love" Daisy Buchanan.
I had psychoanalysis. I will stick with it because it is a huge part of this story. The Great Gatsby by the end is full of death at the end, and in death we want to see the good in people not the bad.
I had modernism and I think I would change to feminism because the book shows more things like that then modernism in my opinion
I had modernism, it was hard to find good examples in the book with out having to kind of think out of the box for them. Also there wasn't that many examples in the book. Some of the other theory's there were lots of examples but modernism didn't.
I had psycho-analysis. I found some quotes and stuff but mostly just the ones that you showed us. I think feminism was a good one because there are so many examples in the book and the theory itself is easier to understand
I had Marxism. I wouldn't wanna change theories just because I think I can relate to this one the most. I believe that the Marxism theories are going to be the easies just because of the fact that everybody knows the differences in social classes and can compare the differences like how daisy and tom can just start new and relocate because of their money where as most average people would have to think about finances and other factors.
