This was an addon at the end of a book giving a snippet of another book so i only have one chapter to go by. I believe it was likely the first chapter. I read it about 2-8 years ago. This was an audiobook with a male reader. The man in the book is traveling on a train. I think for something work related. The man has the ability to tell when people are going to die because he sees them differently. I think he sees them with the injuries they died from or maybe he sees them as skeletons or something like that. He knows what he is seeing and is not upset about it so his power is not new to him at this point.

He sees everyone on the train will shortly die. I dont believe it is in modern time. First person narrative. Has an odd thomas feel but thats not it.
