Alright ladies. This chapter was certainly chaotic and climatic! My heart almost stopped when Reyes intended to sacrifice himself so Charley and Beep could get away. It was utterly romantic and just makes you love the Son of Satan even more. Then there's the moment where Charley realizes the key to defeating the hell hounds, if only for awhile. Did this climax blow your mind? What would you have changed?

Ahmya (ahmyasan) | 58 comments I don't really know... I am still trying to wrap my head around what happened in this chapter. But i gotta say what Reyes is willing to do... just makes you love him more.

Yeah, what an action packed chapter. Reyes was amazing in the fight scene e, then Charley stabbing herself. holy hell. Then she had me cracking up when she was drugged.

Ines (slayraa) | 684 comments This chapter confused me a lot. Charley somehow defeats the demons with her light and absorbs the power of Zeus that strengthens her and her daughter to some cosmic level. But then she rushes to her uncle without thinking of Sylvia, and somehow is attacked and drugged by her. What happened to all her almighty powers? She heals fast but not when drugged? Why didn't she just stop time once she realised she had a gun pointed to her head? Why wait for Reyes while she saw her uncle bleeding to death? I don't get it.

I loved the book but this part wasn't a favourite.

This was one of the things that frustrated me about Charley in this book. She acted so helpless at times and then all powerful the next.

Ines (slayraa) | 684 comments I understand. I love reading about Charley but when my brain kicks in I can't glue it all together as I want.

Brittany (betweenthepagesofabook) | 15 comments very intense chapter and of course makes Reyes even more swoonworthy. I have a feeling this chapter will lead to bigger things in the future with Charley doing what she did with Zeus
