I thought it was super cold that Nouria wanted to kill J while J was unconscious. I would've loved to see her try or see Warner level the place.

The end just felt rushed and unsatisfying to me. Everything just happened almost in passing. This wasn't my favorite series and this ending was disappointing. I often thought whole books in this series were slow and not much was revealed, but everything was analyzed with too much discussion and this end was completely the opposite, too quick and with the barest of information.

Emmaline ~ (view spoiler)[ I guess I don't know how I expected this to end, but Emmaline's death was anti-climactic. Honestly, the entire ending felt anti-climactic. (hide spoiler)]

Juliette ~ (view spoiler)[ Warner being able to jar Juliette's memory to bring her back to herself and restore her memories and personality was nice. But I thought him taking his shirt off was unnecessary. (hide spoiler)]

Supreme Commanders ~ (view spoiler)[ The Supreme Commanders were all killed, I think. And the story ends and we aren't even sure that Anderson died.

I felt bad when Nazeera asked who killed her father. I often forgot that these villains were the parents of some of our heroes. I wondered if the Supreme children became allies and were better rulers than their corrupt, power-hungry parents. (hide spoiler)]

Ok 1. There is some crazy shit happening here. and weve officially gone back to "what the fuck is going on??" (view spoiler)[Emmaline is INSIDE Jello??? (also my favourite nickname) and what the hell was going on outside the dome? Emmaline basically bringing forth the destruction of the world? lol. That's nuts. (hide spoiler)]

I also read some of the reviews for this book LOL. So many 1 and 2 star. One of the reviews was saying she should have stopped at the original trilogy, which I find especially funny because I didnt like book 1-3 as I have the last few lol.

I don’t know what they’re doing with the other supreme kids but I’m assuming they’re all in the tanks and they’re working on experimenting more on them. Maybe trying to create more emmalines? But I still don’t understand what happened in the beginning with Emma and Ella. And where that part of her went (hide spoiler)]

Overall; Meh. For the entire series. Book 4&5 were my favourite so maybe I just had higher hopes for this one. I feel like the main theme in this series is "lets keep the reader in the dark as long as possible and never fully explain anything." and Im not here for it. We finally got a glimpse in books 4&5, which is why I think they were my favourite lol.
I was a bit disappointed with Kenji in this book. He was one of my favourite characters and I just feel like he was a bit annoying in this book. (view spoiler)[I'm sad that he never reconnected with Castle. I definitely thought that would be a huge thing in this book once they were sort of on the rocks. (hide spoiler)]
TBH. All the characters kinda bothered me. (view spoiler)[Warner was just an actual dick. I wish we had some of his POV because I feel like he was so bad in this book because it was from Kenjis POV. Nazeera.. well she definitely felt like a side character and was never fully explored. Plus I mean she was unconscious most of the book. But also, she wakes up and is just immediately ready to go into battle? I dont think so. (hide spoiler)]
Considering changing my review from 3 to 2 stars after writing this... lol.

Juliette/Anderson/Emmaline (view spoiler)[I forgot to comment on Juliette/Ella. I thought it was pretty cool how they wiped her memory and she became obsessed with Anderson. That is one thing I enjoyed about this one. But also with Anderson, Im sorry, I dont care how fast you can heal yourself you cant heal a bullet to the head faster than it will kill you, especially when it can take days to weeks for the girls to heal way more minor injuries.
And Emmaline. I still dont really understand anything about her, how her power works, what she was doing, why she was only able to contact them to give their memories back. If she was that powerful she definitely could have done more. But then I guess this wouldnt have been much of a story. (hide spoiler)]

Lol yeahhh... I really didn't enjoy this one. I couldn't wait for it to end and I just didn't feel like the characters were consistent with how they were the rest of the series. Aaron and Kenji kept me going through the other books and I kinda low key hated them both in this one :( Just wasn't my jam
