Magnus Bane is my favorite character, I love how he always just seems to be there, always randomly helping out in any situation.

I actually started reading the series in January this year, I caught on pretty quickly and now LOVE the books. Favourite series would probably be The Dark Artifices or The Infernal Devices. Though I'm quite interested in how the Last Hours will turn out to be. I took the family quiz yesterday and I'm apparently a Herondale. Yay! :)

I discovered the shadowhunters world by 18 or 19. In Spain it isn't as mainstream as other sagas or genres, so I guess that's why it took me so long.
I couldn't decide what's my favorite series... All of them have something I really like.
The Blackthorns are a tender spot to me and I think my favorite characters are Simon Lovelace and Cordelia Carstairs. Magnus time is always welcomed and I dislike Charles Buford. I can't stand Zara and her crew. Shippings are fun but I can't decide which one I like the most.
Thank you for this community, since I have no one around who can understand my addiction to these book series, this is quite unique.

my name's haniya! im 13 and i started reading shadowhunters at age 11. i've only read the infernal devices trilogy and am halfway through the mortal instruments but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the infernal devices (though i was kinda disappointed by the ending of clockwork princess)

I'm a relatively new fan. I first heard about the TMI series when the movie was announced but it didn't catch my eye then. It wasn't until the first season of the Shadowhunters TV series was released on Netflix did I test the waters. The world building was amazing and I attempted to read the City of Bones, but was promptly put off by the writing style. It felt too juvenile for me back then and I recently only trudged through TMI so that I could watch seasons 2 and 3 of the TV series.
Needless to say, I was blown away and a major fan! I'm currently halfway through TDA #1.
Happy to meet fellow fans :)
