(let's do this. it's early morning my time.)Though a sickly pale Mavi did his job. but he himself never went to sleep. No....he didn't wan't to see her die again even if it was just a nightmare. Unlike most dragon Mavi found the water calming choosing to sleep near. However...His heart had other plans. The next morning he woke up after another series of the same nightmare, to Phoenix. Oh gods why? he thought as he blushed uncontrollably but then another thought came. this...isn't that bad...maybe...just till she wakes up. he thought still tired. He got close to her feeling her warmth and smiled then slowly closed his eyes till she woke up. "So warm." he quietly mumbled.
As he became fully rested he began to rise. He woke them all the same way. cooking breakfast. Though not the best at it he was sure better then with medicine. He let the savory sent of fresh cooked meat wake everyone while he sat in the shade and waited, watching over each of them like a guardian angle. "Wake up you lot." he said at full volume. "At this rate it'll be three days if don't wake up and eat." he said with serious yet playful tone.
Mavi sighed "I warned you." he mumbled as he took in a deep breath "GET UP NOW!!!" He roared. It was loud enough to echo through out the camp.
Coldfire looked at him glaring still laying down as Sol practically cried and Phoenix jumped up on all fours looking scared.
Mavi snorted fire. "I made breakfast...eat before it gets cold." he said constantly shifting his eyes. "And don't bother glaring at me. I told you lot before we left you'd learn to rise early." Mavi said as he began to pace. "Today we gotta keep a low profile in the air. With all that happened yesterday I feel our little show might have caught some...unwanted attention." he says narrowing his eyes. With one flap of a wing anything resembeling a fire, or what was left of one, was gone. "Before we go...here." Mavi says presenting what looks like satchels to the group. "We travel light but that doesn't mean without treasure. if you find anything that peeks your intreast rather it be something useful or just a intereasting item...put it here and don't ask where I got them." Mavi says his expression softening. "We leave once the camp is clear. however me and Phoenix will be flying in the air to function as lookouts...clear?" he says with a smokey snort.
“Yessir” Phoenix growled playfully Coldfire grumbled and lay his head back Solar’s chest, and Sol shoved his head of and stood up.
Mavi gave a sigh of relief. "Good." he growled back spreading his wings and shooting up in a spiral. "DO NOT WASTE TIME! DAYLIGHT IS PRECIOUS AND OUR JOURNEY IS LONG!!!" He roared to the group below. Don't fail them...whatever you do...don't fail them. he thought as he circled the camp flying as gracefully as a eagle hunting it's prey. He began to hum a unfamiliar song. Mumbling some of the lyrics. "Fly, fly far for the sky is our guide and the land is our home..." He mumbled
Sol tilted his head at Mavi and flew up to him “‘Don’t fail them?’ What’s that supposed to mean?”
"Phoenix. Watch your tail. your too low. Fly a little higher so you don't get smacked by a tree." he said in a almost father like manor. Watching her every move, seeing what the flaws in her style of flight were. I can't let them down...I can't fail them. He thought. His eyes darting from one area in the sky to the next.
“I know how to fly Mav, it’s habit now and I’m one of the best flyers” Phoenix looked straight ahead as she flew within the cover of the trees barely at the top of them and dodged getting hit by one. I can fly
Mavi didn't respond...or even turn. Mid flight something was wrong as Mavi fell into a uncontrolable free fall. he was about to crash! no..no no no no NO!!!!!! he thought as flashes of a horrific event appeared in his mind. He couldn't move his wings, his legs, not even his eyes. he was frozen. I couldn't...but...Mother.... he thought as he approached the ground a a rapid pace. help...please.... his mind screamed with those images...the blood...the pain....mother...
Mavi crashed. not far from the camp. "D-Dam it!" he roared in anger. "I thought I put....that behind me." he said checking himself for wounds. "Oh great a broken leg...just perfect." he said with heavy sarcasim. He took to the sky once more trying his best to hide his injury but to no avial. "Sorry about that Phoenix..let's just say....a lot has happened." he said with a somber tone.(you there?)

Mavi winced as well. "Well this will most likely solw us down..." he said in a somber tone. It wasn't like Mavi to be so....cold so to speak. whatever happened there...it shook him to the core.
"Heh, it won't if we fly for most of the time, we will only land to rest" Phoenix smiled to him.
"Y-Yeah...." he said still with his somber tone. I can't tell them....can I? he thought as he somewhat snapped out of his funk. "We head to Rainwing teritory. There should be a entrance to the Nightwing teritory there." He looked at his leg. "I have a bad feeling this is a omen of some kind...and I don't like it." He tried to get up but to no avial. This injury was more serious then he thought. Can't...Slow...Down...Must...Go...On. he thought as his face showed signs of pain. "R-Right...we head out as soon as we can..." he says trailing off.
Phoenix lifted him in the air with the help of the others so he could try to fly, they started on their way to the Nightwing village with Solar Eclipse in the lead.
As she helped him he blushed not of embaressment, but of being so close to phoenix. "Th-Thank you...Phoenix." he gave a small smile and flew. "Right. let's see if we can make it to the Rainwings before night fall. There should not only be our passage to the nightwings but some medicine as well." he said speaking in a rather...leader like tone. "All troops! MOOOOVE OUT!!" he roared as he dive bomb then quickly rose back up, focusing on gliding and impressing Phoenix. he thought. "Come on! we don't have time to waste! especailly with my leg as it is!" he roared in a kind manner snorting fire as he finished speaking.(You there?) (hello?) (did I say something?)
(K.) As Mavi took flight. He didn't bother to bark orders in a tone similar to a general he just said. "Let's move. Once we hit rainwing Teritory we can rest. Am I understood?" He said while keeping a eye on Phoenix. "And...Phoenix....thank you....when we land...I'll tell you why...I froze." he said with a serious, almost somber look, in his eyes.
As he flew Mavi closed his eyes for a brief moment till they suddenly flashed opened as he dive bombed down at top speed. I feel it...The wind racing under my wings, the rush of the fall, the pumping of my blood. he thought as he suddenly rushed back up with a boom. Freedom...this is freedom. he thought as he smiled flying faster then he thought possible.(You there or are you taking another swim?)
(Had to take a shower) Phoenix flew behind with Coldfire and Sol (have to go bail my dog outta jail, we have to fix him T^T)

Ye, Frost is being picked up tomorrow, we’re hoping he got Purdy prego again (yes all my characters are based off of real dogs (except their family, like Frost and Purdy’s parents/siblings along with Cronus and Rhea

Peril I believe there name is." he said putting his talon on his chin. "If I remember right she learned that with certain dragons, like mudwings as a example, that she could touch them without burning them." He said blushing as he stared at here. "P-Perhaps we can see if Hybrids are the same or not..." He said locked on her eyes. what beautiful eyes....I can't help but stare. he thought

Mavi frowned. But then a idea popped into his head. "Phoenix...I have something I want to tell you but...you got to promise me you won't laugh....OK?" He said seeming like his old self aside from the leg.

Phoenix looked down at the forest floor, she was unsure whether to say she was to, or to lie to spare her feelings.

"Before I met you...I was lost...wandering without reason but ever since I met you...I've felt things I never have before like love and freedom....without you I feel like....a empty shell....Sure I'm wise but wisdom can only take me so far....please Phoenix....Will you be mine?" he said blushing but smiling.
Phoenix looked at her talons, she looked up at the sky then at Mavi “Mavi.. I feel the same way, but I don’t know... I don’t trust this relationship to be like my past ones. But, I shouldn’t live in the past... I’m willing if you are” she smiled at him and blushed a little bit.
you see Mavi's eyes widen, his smile grows and then he dive bombs, zips up and yells at the top of his lungs. "YEEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!" He is at the moment he IS the happiest dragon in all of Pyriah. "I'll try my best to make you happy!" He says beaming from ear to ear, and out of pure energetic happiness, kisses Phoenix on the lips, blushing as he does.
Phoenix blushes and laughed a little bit, Coldfire looked sad and asked Sol “Why won’t you say yes to me?” as soon as Sol said this Coldfire stopped flying, he hovered where he was as “Cause I don’t like you lie that”, he flew down to the ground and watched Sol fly away.
With all this energy Mavi flies as high as possible then goes into a free fall. LETS DO THIS!!! he thinks releasing his wings at the last moment in a spiral fashion as he breaths his blue fire. that thing about a low profile? Gone the moment she said yes.
Coldfire looked at the floor and tears escaped his eyes, Phoenix flew down to her best friend and hugged him. Sol rolled his eyes and dived down into the Rain forest. (To the rain wing village)
As Mavi see's the cave in the distance he does three quick burst to signal "It's us." Then proceeds to land with the armor on. "Been awhile...Lemon...half moon." He says smiling under the gun metal grey armor.(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iLHw... Flying/Landing theme please listen ^_^)
(Ok) YAY! Said sandstorm. MORE FRIENDS! They are friends, right? She asked.
Mavi laughs. "More then friends...Family." he says as he bows his head in respect.
Solar Eclipse laughed and said "Parents, this is Sandstorm and-" he was cut off as Lemon leaped at Dreamcreeper, "DREAM!" she screeched as she tightly hugged her. Coldfire want to the balcony of which came before the cave.
"We rest...then tomarrow.....We fly to the sky kingdom." he says still getting used to the armor. "Phoenix...are you prepared for what might come?" he says some what sounding like a commander.
