Thanks for hosting us! On the 14th, I read about 80 pages, so I came in short of my goal, but am still happy.
The Atwood book I am reading has two primary points of view; I love one of them, and am still adjusting to the other.
Our community is being quarantined, including people lining up at 3am to be received by empty stores. We were prepared, and I have my books, praises all around!

You're welcome! I've always wanted to participate in a read-a-thon and although the occasion is not formidable at all, it's still a thing to keep us all busy.
Good to hear you were prepared! Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking?

How did you like The Light in Hidden Places? Do you recommend it?

I highly recommend it. If you don't know what its about its a true story based in World War II.
I missed your message! I am in Los Angeles, and there is talk of an impending Police State. Hearsay? I am experiencing this part to the FULLEST. About 130 pages today.

Now I’m reading Where It Hurts by Jenna Burks. I’m having trouble with the very basic writing style in this one. However the story itself is showing to be interesting so I’m keeping at it. This is a book I won in the Giveaways, so I wanted to be able to review it.
I’m halfway through Blood of Elves by A. Sapkowski (audiobook). Since I’ll be staying at my grandmother’s for a while and leaving my Syrian hamsters at home with my dad, I wanted to let them free roam a little. Little did I know my precious Chochi would end up in a cupboard which I had to disassemble and then reassemble (twice). Three and a half hours later the little troublemaker finally found himself in the comfort of his cage and well loved nest.
As for me: I used this nerve wrecking experience to listen to the audiobook, which, I can say with pain in my back and tears in my eyes — is really good.
So how has everyone been doing?
