I read this book on April 2007. The cover has this showgirl in feathers or... a woman with a showgirl on the background.

Female protagonist befriended this male stripper she had a crush on when she visited Vegas. Together with her best friend and the guy's friends, they'd travel famous landmarks in some states.

On one occasion in a restaurant (was that dinner?), the guy brought with him his girlfriend and a male surfer friend. I remember them visiting the Grand Canyon (this was the first time I saw Grand Canyon as a beautiful place, I thought otherwise before reading the book).

This male friend's name is Finn. There was a time when the protagonist thought her crush stood her up in a potential date. Finn was there in his stead.
