Allie walked to her locker confidently. She knew she wasn't the best looking girl in school but she liked to think she was attractive. (She most certainly was). She walked up behind Brian and gave him a friendly hug from behind. "First day of senior year!" She squealed. "How do I look?" She stepped back, giving him a view of her perfect hair, tight jeans, and a blue button up blouse.
Allie shook her head. "No we didn't have to do anything that was actual work. My teachers just gave us the plans for the year. Then we talked and caught up. Did you know that Jimmy Davis moved?" She leaned against the lockers casually.
"I know right. He was cute too." Allie got her stuff for history. "What class do you have this hour?"
Allie smiled at him. "Meet me at lunch later with Jack and Lisa?" Jack and Lisa were the two other friends of their ragtag group. They were in a relationship so that left Allie and Brian alone together a lot.
Allie walked in and sat down at the lunch table beside Jack and Lisa, who were pushed close against each other. "Jeez guys get a room." Jack laughed and Lisa looked over Allie and said, "Wow Allie you went all out. Are you trying to impress Brian. Allie blushed and said, "No of course not. He's not attracted to me and I'm not attracted to him. We're just friends, nothing else."
Allie smirked. "I didn't realize you were so worried about it." She started eating her food as a very good looking guy came over and sat by her. He said, "Hi Allie right? Well I'm James and I was just wanting to ask uh..." He rubbed the back of his neck. "You wanna go to the movies on Friday or something?" Allie smiled and looked back at Lisa before saying, "Yes. Here's by number so we can talk before it." James grinned and walked back to his seat. Allie grinned. "Man he was hot!'
Allie noticed Brian's expression. "You ok? What's wrong?" She looked at him with an expression of concern.
Allie sighed and covered her face with her hands. "Oh my god I'm so sorry. I had no idea. Tell you what, if things don't work out with James, you've got the next shot."
Allie sniffled. "Maybe it's because James was man enough to ask me out before someone else did," she said before calmly walking out of the cafeteria. Once she was out of sight she ran to her car and burst into tears. Why were boys so insensitive?
Allie locked the door on him and flipped the bird before looking away and trying to stifle her sobs. Her body was still shaking though.
Allie texted back. "Babe? Where did that come from? You don't get to call me that. And since when did you think I was only after you?"
"That's because you've always been a good friend to me. Like my big brother that I never had. I'm sorry Brian, but this is how it's going to be."
Once he was safely away Allie called James who came and took her to his house and cheered her up. James was actually a great guy and couldn't believe what Brian had done. He wanted to go talk to him but Allie didn't allow him, not wanting things to get ugly. They ended up making out on James' couch.
Ok.)) Allie walked into the dance with James happily. She was wearing a blue dress that ended just above her knees and her blonde hair was allowed to flow freely. Things had changed since she met James. She was happy and he always made her feel pretty. As she made her way over with James to his friends, who had become hers, she started talking to them.
Allie saw Brian and smiled, happy that he has moved on. It was better this way. James snaked his arm around her and pulled her close. She giggled and put her arm around his waist.
Allie nudged James. "Look at Brian and Marie. Is that not disgusting?" James smirked and lowered his hand to her butt. "Gives me a couple ideas." Allie laughed and slapped his hand away. "Maybe later if you're good."
Allie frowned and looked at Brian again. She pulled away and walked towards him. "What's wrong with you?"
"From what I know about Marie, she was not and you're being the problem. Why do you have to be like this Brian? You missed your chance. Move on. And why would you even think that you like guys?"
"Maybe I did have feelings for you at one point but the way you've been acting has made me lose those feelings."
Allie sent back, "On our way." James looked over at her and smiled. "I guess I lost my biggest competition today." Allie shrugged. "I guess."
"Yep," Allie said. James ordered them a bucket to share when the waitress came. "So are you guys...+
((It depends on my mood))Allie raised an eyebrow. "Yeah it seems like you guys are having a good time." She thought it was kind of weird how much they kissed.
James took Allie's hand and whispered in her ear. She giggled and said, "Guys, me and James are gonna get out of here so see you at school."
