I'm looking to put together a horror anthology of all goodreads authors that we can publish through Amazon. Anyone interested?

I figured we would write new stories for it but I suppose if you have one you've already published that works it would be fine provided it is okay with your publisher. As for this anthology it would be self published through Amazon although I'd be glad to go with a regular publisher if the option presented itself.
Yes. "The turning" or turning point. Each author can write whatever they want as long as it fits. Someone turning into a werewolf or a vampire or a zombie or a plant or having their magic awaken or something far more creative. Whatever you come up with.
Neat. I might have something. Keep me posted on submission guidelines and contract details and so forth.
Hi, my name is Brian O'Raleigh and I have 3 books on amazon and kindle and am in the process of completing 3 more, two of them almost finished. My new work 'The Storyteller of Inis Mor' has been highly praised by the Australian Irish Echo. I love writing and have received very good independent reviews in all the major Australian newspapers and magazines for my memoir 'The Boy in the Boat'. BUT... I am hopeless at marketing. I would love to engage more with Goodreads but not sure how to do that. I'm a dinosaur with computers too! Help!!!
PS. How do I do a book giveaway on Goodreads?
Hi Brian, if you have a look at the top of your screen you'll see the word explore, click Giveaways. After you go to the page, on your right hand side should be a link to list a giveaway. Click on that and follow the step by step guide

Click on ..."As Aaron says above Brian it's very easy.Whether it helps in marketing your work is anybody's guess..opinion is divided on it. I've got one going at present and I'll probably be able to offer an opinion on it in May when it ends. I'm using free sites, social media etc..on the basis that any publicity is better than none, My book is called Did Socrates Get Pissed? It's British humour, a black comedy with a lot of laughs available on Amazon like your own work...with FREE downloads on Unlimited and occasional FREE downloads to all. You may be doing similar promotions on your own work, Writing is the enjoyable bit....marketing is the hard slog!! Good luck with it anyway,
Hi Brian,Just noticed your letter. Writing is wonderful. Therapeutic.." But marketing'" she groaned. With so many Indie Books out there it's definitely a hard slog.
I'd give my books away. It's finding readers, not making money, that's important. I've had great reviews for mybooks 'Stalking Aidan' and 'Progeny Of A Killer.' Psychological thrillers with lots of sex and violence. I agree,
Social Media is great for promotion.
For my first book Night Walker I'm happy enough to not make money on it. It is a labor of love but always an ambition to make a living The idea is to get as many people as possible to hear about it/download it/talk about it. If this means giveaways, free downloads etc I'm prepared to do so.
It is part of a series, so using this to build up a fan base is key. I've spent a heap on marketing, and it hasn't been easy. But if you have the right attitude anout it, it can be quite fun
Hi Chisto,I am working on a horror short story that would fit your chosen theme very nicely. I've been planning to distribute it for free to promote my novel (which it ties into), but I might be interested in having it included in an anthology. Let me know if you'd like me to send you a copy when it's finished.
Hello. I have a short story that may fit into what you're looking for, about a man who discovers he's a vampire. If you'd like to peek into it just let me know. Thanks!
I recently released my post-apocalyptic thriller Blank: Mind the Gap and it's cheap at almost half price till it goes live on July 12. If you're into the paranormal and UFO secrecy you're gonna love it. Oh yeah - there's even a shark attack! What can I say, I'm an Aussie!
