instead of the correct one:

Hi Nicholas,

I'm going to repost your request to the employee thread to ask that these be merged. For some reason, the author profile that you claimed has an extra space in it, which Goodreads uses to disambiguate authors with otherwise identical names. In this instance, I see no reason for your profile to have the extra space since your name isn't particularly common. Merging your profile/removing the extra space will prevent future books of yours from going on walkabout.

ETA: and librarians can't do this, only employees can, hence my repost to the employee thread :)
