message 1: by Suhasini (new)

Suhasini (macabreality) | 2 comments Hi. So I go by Suhasini, or Suha. I have two main hobbies, reading and collecting books and magazines (not physical ones, anymore, that is). Took me a while to realize that I have a hobby of collecting books, but I always loved reading.

I don't like predictability and I like computer hacker books, sort of. That's been the one constant since I discovered the Dragon Tattoo series. I used to read a lot of Wattpad werewolf fiction (I have two or so recommendations I could give if you like) and a couple of stories on FanFiction that are worth reading.

I discovered manga way too late. There are some beautiful stories that I could recommend.
Mostly, I collect books from ebook3000 or ibookpile. There was a time when the second library of Alexandria, oceanofpdf, was my go-to place for anything new.

I rarely like reading books on my computer. I'm on my phone, reading twelve or so hours a day. I don't think I've touched a physical book in three years. (A bit sad, I know.)
I'm a college student about to graduate in a technology degree with a specialization in supply chain and logistics.

I recently had a phase that lasted a year, where I read every martial arts, fantasy, xianxia, Chinese light novels I could find that were interesting, but now I've lost interest in most of them. I could recommend some good ones too. I've never finished any of them, but I after a thousand chapters or so, my interest will be grabbed by another light novel. And so I have an app full of thirty or so novels that I never finished reading.

I grew up reading so I have books from my childhood that I would give five stars, which I would now give one star. I read every new book that popped up in my school library, fiction mostly.
It took me a very long time to become interested in nonfiction. I find that reading nonfiction has helped me develop sense of introspection and sensitivity to foreign and national current events. I have one or two biographies I would recommend.

There are few books I reread. I hate not having access to books or stories that I like. It throws me off when I can't collect them properly. So far, I've had four stories that are lost to almost everyone but the authors. But Fanfction is popular enough that these authors like to public, so fingers crossed. I've read stories which remained unfinished for years. It's like listening to a song, but only halfway through.

To start off, I recommend that everyone read these books. Phantom
Graceling and Naoki Urasawa's Monster, Volume 1: Herr Dr. Tenma

They're my favourites. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone here.
