The fae rule over the lands or immortal and mortal alike, the four courts of Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter dividing it up amongst themselves. The Seelie Courts of Spring and Summer constantly clash with the Unseelie Court of Autumn and Winter. The mortals get caught up inbetween the four courts as the constantly squabble amongst themselves. The four Princes of the courts refuse to let the mortals leave their lands as they process something the immortal faerie do not. Craft, only mortals can create the things the fae love so much. From the extravagant clothes they don in their revels to the swords they use to cut down their foes. All is made by the mortal humans, for it is against the old laws of the fae to make human craft.
There are whispers of a Faerie Queen rising among the courts and the Princes grow worried. For millennia there hasn't been a Queen of the Faeie and the Princes have ruled their courts unchecked, the return of a queen does not please them. The new queen must be careful, she must watch whom she talks to. She must be on her guard, for the Princes are as terrible as any faerie. The Princes will not give up power without a fight, and for the first time in their long lives they feel fear.
