"Yeah," Max said with a grin. "I gathered that, but how does it work? How does it turn into a tatoo?"
"Magic silly don't humans have magic?"
"That's pitiful!" She says with a almost laugh and you humans think you're better than us!" She says with a bit of playfulness but serious
"Only in numbers. In anything else, you're superior." Max responded.
"So why does your people hurt and seek so district mine?"
"I don't know. It's mostly..." Max hesitated. It might not be the best idea to tell her that his father was the king. "The king." He finished.
"I know who it is.. It's late and I'm sleepy.. There is bed and a couch--""I'll take the couch!" Chase said abruptly
"OK." Max motined to the floor. "I'll take the floor. You can have the bed."
"No way! There's room for you in the bed!" She says grabbing his hand not letting him
Max let out a sigh. "No, really. I can sleep on the ground. You can take the bed."
"I insist! Your are my guest you take the bed or we share the bed which is defiantly big enough!"
"We share it, then. I'm not making you sleep on the floor." Max said.
"Okay it's right through there" she pointed and turned to chase handing him a blanket "goodnight!" She said waving and walked after max.
Max walked into the room Doe had indicated, his gaze sweeping the room before finally settling on the bed. he was sore from riding, and wanted to go sleep.
"There is a washroom down the way aswell." She told him, just to let him know if he needed it, she yawned a little making a squeaky nose and blushed a bit laughing at herself for making the strange nose.
Max looked at her, wondering if that was a hint to wash before laying down. "Does that mean that you want me to be clean before contaminating your sheets with my stink?" He asks with a slight grin.
"Depends how bad do you stink?" She asked teasing back with him. Of cores she wasn't telling him to wash before bed she wasn't his mother she simply wanted him to know I case he needed it. Humans are silly.
Max pretended to smell his armpits, flinching in mock horror. "I don't know. I stink pretty bad." He said.
"Eww!! Humans are gross!" She laughed
"Then maybe I should wash before stinking up your sheets." Max says with a smile.
"You know where it is." She says with a smile as she walked over to the bed yawning.
Max smiles one last time before going to wash himself. A few minutes later, he walked back into the room, smelling considerably better.
She was already in bed curled under the covers and when she heard him opened one eye and stifled a laugh as she looked at him sleepily.
Max climbs into bed next to Doe, falling asleep quickly.
Doe quickly fell back asleep curling close to his back in search of warmth without meaning to. She lay very close to him.
Max woke an hour later, aware of how close she was. He tried to go back to sleep, but couldn't with her being so close. He moved to the ground, curling up for warmth.
She woke up when he moved away blushing as she realized she had forced him off the bed she laid the comforter over him and left the room.
Max stired when Doe put the blanket on him, then fell back asleep, tangling himselft up in it.
She walked quietly into the kitchen and begun to make breakfast she was a very early riser expect ally when she thought she had done something bad.
Max woke a few minutes later, and for a moment, didn't know where he was at. Then he remembered that he was sleeping in an unnatural creature's house. He stood and replaced the blanket on Doe's bed, then walked out of the room.

((It's okay! ^.^))Doe was in the kitchen putting the eggs, ham(not on her plate) bread, and cheese on the three plates and carrying them into the dining room and setting up the tree places.
Chase was slowly stirring on the couch.
Max walks into the room, breathing deeply when he caught the scent of the breakfast. "Something smells good." He says with a grin, watching Doe put the plates on the table.
She smiled "breakfast is ready!" She says happily looking at him Chase sat up yawning a grin on his face. "Something smells yummy!"
((Is his name Chase or Carter?))Max grins and sits down at the table, looking at his plate. He takes a bite, swallows, then smiles at Doe. "Thank you for the breakfast. It's good."
((Carter sorry brain fart lol!!))"I'm glad you like it!" She says beaming a bright smile in her face and she went and sat at the place with no meat.
Carter stood and followed them to the table and sat down and took a bite "this is amazing!" He said with a smile
((It's alright. Lol))Max takes another bite, eyeing Doe's plate. He swallows, then asks, "Why did you get any meat?"
"I'm a elf, we help things love here in the forest. It's unheard of for me to actually eat something that I helped being to life just to kill it for myself, though I always keep meat in the hut for visitors." She said simply.
Max frowned, then looked down at his own meat. Listening to her, it made him feel cruel to eat it. He pushed it aside and ate a bite of toast instead.
She giggled "you can eat it infact you should otherwise it would have died in vain. It's part of my species not yours silly!" She said thinking what he was doing was funny.
Max nodded and finished off the bread on his plate. Then he took a bite of the meat. Though Doe's words still hovered, it still tasted good and he took another bite.
"So why exactly are you two within our woods?" Doe asked.
Max shared a deer in headlights look with Carter, then looked back to Doe. Then, he looked down and started picking at the eggs, his apitite suddenly gone.
Carter chocked on his eggs as the question was asked he started cough really bad picking up his napkin to cover his mouth. "Oh my! Let me get you something to drink!" She says standing up and walking out of earshot into the other room.
Carter looked at max expectantly.
"Should we tell her?" Max asked softly, making sure that Doe couldn't hear them.
"There no way not even she could take that in a positive way!" He whispered bakc
"So what should we say?" Max whispers. "I don't want to tell her the truth, but I don't want to lie to her either."
