Yep Eden I agree the Hobbit movie was great. I thought it might drag but the film went quickly. It was a fitting conclusion.
Hello everyone :-) just a little notice, if anyone is ready to start reading Dark Hollow, go ahead and read. It is earlier then planned, just I finished my previous book Apartment 16 before our set date. So let the game commence !
No problem ESLR whether you are ready. A notice for everyone, please do not feel pressurised to start or finish as a group, read and chat at your own pace. Me and Jonathan like to host relaxed and fun buddy reads. Only rule which I will repeat is please remember spoiler tags when discussing plot points.
Mehmet is right.Take your time and feel free to start whenever you want. We want everyone to have fun.
^_^
Today was the original start date, so now is great time to begin if you have not yet :-) I am quite far into the book, and am enjoying it a lot. So if you do not mind could we have a update on everyone whether you started or not pls :-)
Mehmet wrote: "We started Adam :-) although looks like some have finished first book already !"Yes I apologize. Since reading with my buddy Mehmet my reading speed has increased somewhat. I found that on my slow weeks I can cram in a 300 page book easily. I blame my lack of social life, I'm such a bookworm!
Here is my collection of Brian Keene books to share with all of you. I posted them on my Facebook page, but since most of you haven't seen them there I figured I would share them here.

As you can see Mehmet, there is a small chunk of them I am saving for our Spring and Summer buddy reads this year!
I've only read a couple of chapters of this, it's not grabbing me yet so I need to give it some dedicated reading time to get into it.
Finished Dark Hollow myself last night ! It was a great book, I enjoyed it a lot. Started Ghost Walk now :-)
Addy me and Jonathan are going start Ghost Walk so you can join in the Buddy read when you ready :-)Just a group announcement, which I should of stated before to be honest. Sorry folks:-( we will read the first two books back to back, Dark Hollow and Ghost Walk. After that we discuss as a group the next date to start.
Nice pictures Jonathan! I'm a few chapters into Dark Hollow and definitely sucked into the story. I love it so far.
Hey guys sorry for the lacks in posted will be starting Dark Hollow tonight. Though I have already read these books. They are great reads.
No worries everyone, I also have failed to post, although I have been reading. Family and work issues I am sure takes priorities and much time to deal with. But hey that is why we enjoy reading so much, it helps us relax. So far out of all the Brian Keene books I read, Dark Hollow has to be my favourite. I going to write a review, want to get my personal feelings out before I read my friends opinions. As this book kinda of touched me right to my heart.
Maxine wrote: "Nice pictures Jonathan! I'm a few chapters into Dark Hollow and definitely sucked into the story. I love it so far."Thanks! I guess I am a fanboy huh?
I hope everyone enjoys this buddy read! No worries if are just starting out. I look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on this book. If you have any questions about the Thirteen or The Labyrinth feel free to ask me!
Yep make sure you do ask our top researching on all things Keene ! Jonathan is somewhat of a expect, he may actual be top agent :-) Ok Addy sorry to hear that, you are welcome to join in anytime you get yourself a copy
I am loving Ghost Walk. Both books are weird in a good way.
Nodens is definitely King of the Thirteen.
I always enjoy the first two books in this set because I live in York, PA and I am familiar with the legend of Rehmeyers Hollow.... Lehorns Hollow....Also the ending for Dark Hollow left me sad in several ways.
I finished Ghost Walk, the final note of that novel left me sad and shocked. I really liked it though.
I reading slowly, as I have been very tired after work this week. The book is great so far. My day off today so may try to read extra later :-) hope everyone doing ok ?

I'm doing good. I have been catching up on my other book reads currently. The Dark Tower books are so big and so long! ;)
How is everyone else doing?
Great stuff Jonathan :-) how long you been reading Dark tower series for ? It is a long series. I hoping to read some book later, it is evening in UK so I most likely read tucked up in my warm bed bit later.
