I just published my 2nd book and have been requested to audibilize(?) it. I haven't converted to audible personally but do intend to eventually. If I could get Morgan Freeman to narrate my book I wouldn't hesitate, but frown on idea of me reading my own book for audible. Just saying?!

Dedria A. | 258 comments You know I also have an opinion about authors reading their own audio books. I noticed it upon reading my second Elizabeth Acevedo book ( she writes for teens). Because both are written in first-person voice I was confused about who “I” was. Same sounding voice which hers is beautiful, but that flattened the second book for me a bit.

Ray Hollar-Gregory | 6 comments Good posts, I've got time and more research to do before I go audio, and how.

Trudy (goodreadscomtrudyspages) I’ll add JUST MERCY to this list. Loved the book, but I wish the author had chosen a professional narrator.
