I was very surprised to see Fitz be fine with social reforms. First time he said it I was very skeptical that this made sense for his character then when it was explained a bit more I thought perhaps. So the reason he was against change was that he genuinely thought that it would bring down society? I dunno if I buy that. He seemed to me a got that liked traditions for the same of it.
What do you think?
