This is a large garden on the opposite side from the yards of the severely insane ward. They're gorgeous, but also surrounded by an electric, barbed wire fence.

Half trying to figure out where they'd put her brother and half scoping it out for their escape, Rose walked the perimeter, sharp eyes scanning and taking in everything. Axel was in isolation for a while, since he'd attacked a guard who was too physically forward with his thoughts on Rose's looks. Luckily for said guard Axel had gotten there first, because of Rose had? The guard would have been picked up by th ambulance in a body bag, instead of the stretcher he had been. She sat one a bench and swiveled to lay on her back, arms folded over her chest and eyes closed, her wavy golden brown hair splayed wildly around her head.

Alexander G. (taughtlocket6) | 15 comments Arno sat alone, watching Rose from the other side of the Garden. His eyes darted over her and his hands played with a green apple he stole from storage. The guards were lazy here, better than the Louvre and most of France's governmental buildings. He didn't say anything, he just admired how the girl's hair framed her face. He contemplated approaching, but decided against it. Arno would just rob her later anyway, and the tiny part of his mind that was still normal told him to stay away.

After a moment, Rose half sat up, propping herself up on her elbows. She was sure she had heard something... Her head snapped up and over to him in a gesture reminiscent of a hunting dog locking in on a rabbit. She didn't say anything, because that was just how she was. She didn't have a particular like or dislike for him. As a psychopath, she had to work to feel emotions like hate. He wasn't worth it to her. He did, however, provide a sufficient enough amount of paranoia for her to sit up, her elbows resting on her knees and fingers loosely laced.

message 5: by Alexander (new)

Alexander G. (taughtlocket6) | 15 comments Taking a bite out of his apple, Arno smirked and turned on his heel. He strode away and turned to face one of the surrounding buildings, still tossing his apple back and fourth. Knowing how to play people was good, but knowing how to play a psychopath, that took skill. With no background knowledge in psychology, Arno had taught himself to analyse his marks in the most detailed way possible. Rose was a tough cookie, or at least she acted like it. He hated those people.

((Would you link me since I can't find it again. I struggle ))

It amused Rose how he thought that she cared that he left. She didn't care at all. She really only had two thought now- how to get Axel out, and the job they were here to do. Arno didn't effect either of those goals, so she didn't have a need to effect him in any way. Why waste extra effort for no real purpose? He wasn't worth it in her more than slightly deranged mind.

Dermott exited into the yard, glaring down at his hand which was wrapped in a woven white bandage. He'd managed to go piss off another patient eating their breakfast, made them attack first so all he did was self defense. He was not going to be withheld from things for fighting, hell no. He scoffed and rolled his wrist before stopping, shoving his good hand into his pocket and looked straight up. He took in the view, thinking back to the look his brother gave him when he'd finished, the broken terror. He smiled, a sick sort of smile, twisted. He shouldn't have killed his father, he gave him freedom, what a stupid move on his part, he just couldn't stand the thought of staying on the same plane with that monster.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee say on the grass, picking at them one by one. She had nothing to do and was told to stay in the yard for just a while after having her chest cleaned and wrapped. Her shirt was still stained with blood and her sleeve too, only because the sleeve had blood from the thorn she stabbed her thumb with. She softly hummed a tone from her favorite song, drown. It was the only thing keeping her from crying because she was so close to dying, a wish she's always been having for years. Slowly her humming turned into words as she continued to pick at the grass. "Who will fix me now... Dive in when I'm down... Save me from my self... Don't let me drown"

Dermott was lost in his thoughts when he heard Vee's voice. At first, he didn't realize who it was, just thought the voice was familiar but just couldn't place this. He looked down to see Vee sitting there and remembered the girl he was sharing a cell with. A smirk slid onto his lips for a moment before he noticed the blood and a brow raised and the smirk slipped away before his eyes narrowed. He made his way over, stopping in front of her, an okay distance away and plopped down onto the grass. "What happened?" he asked, his tone cold, distant and he got straight down to the point.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee continued to sing the song, lost in the lyrics to even notice the sound of steps coming closer and the grass getting crunched. Her voice that was already low stopped, her body flinching when she heard someone. She quickly looked up to find Dermott, the boy she shares a cell with. The one that scared her. She quickly pulled her hands to her lap and into her sleeves, wanting to hide behind a tree. "N-nothing" she shuddered, obviously lying.

Dermott's cold eyes narrowed on her, leaning forward, towards her a bit, "you know, I can't tolerate some things," he said lowly, the threat of his words evident, "and one of those things is someone lying, especially right to my face."
Dermott paused, watching her reaction to his words and increased proximity before leaning back, "so, I'll forgive you this time if you answer me properly," he stated, his tone lighter than before, almost friendly. "What happened?" he asked once more, his gaze boring into her eyes.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee shrunk back as he leaned in, filling her in on what he tolerated and what not. She remembered how that had a disagreement in in the cell about her calling him a lier and him denying the fact that he is. He really did scare her, like a lot. And that was why she couldn't dare to lie to him again. "I... I was attached .. In the garden" she spoke softly, glancing only one to find him staring at her. Her gray eyes meet his for just a moment before she looked away, hers filled with fear and his seeming like a black hole with no feelings.

Dermott scowled for a moment before his expression went completely blank. Not those poker face, no his expression was scary, void of any human emotion, or any emotion at all. "What exactly happened, in detail and who was it.. if you know," he demanded, not even asked, just a demand to tell him. He could see the fear in her eyes, it didn't faze him, he was used to that look, the men who shot his mother, the man, looked at him in slight fear when Dermott just looked down at her body. What probably freaked him out was the small laugh that came from him. It was the same fear he saw in people's eyes when he walked by them in the halls, and nearly everywhere else he went. It wasn't to the extent of the look his father and brother gave him, which was a shame, those looks had been beautiful.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Just as before, Vee obeyed and told him what happened. "..I was in the garden alone... Well at less I thought I was. I was at my favorite place which was the rose bush... "She glanced at her sleeves. "I was stabbing my thumb in the thorn when all of a sudden i heard this girl telling me that blood stains" she softly smiles, forgetting that he was their for a moment and remembering how she was being told about blood and what it does. But the quickly fades. "Then somehow she starts to talk to me and then i see jakes... And he tells me that she was shaking her head at me" years brimmed her eyes at the memory. "I told him to leave me alone... To stop and then she said something" Vee couldn't remember much anymore. She didn't want to remeber. "Then jakes said something else and i screamed i hate you. After that she stood to attack me with a garden too". Blinking, the tears fell down her face. "I was so close" she says with a small hint of hope. "I was about to leave this cruel place. But then the guard threw her to the floor. But i still got scratched. " her hands brushes over her covered injury. She then like up to him to see if he was really listening or did she just make a fool of herself and tell him the truth for no reason.

Dermott made himself comfortable on the grass, laying down on his back though his body turned so he was at his side in front of her, making watching her easier especially with her habit of looking down. He watched her as she told him what happened, glad she hadn't fucked around with it and just said it, he wasn't too patient as of late. He listened though, his eyes never moving away from her as she retold it. Schizophrenia, it sounded like that was her little problem, and that problem was someone named Jakes? He assumed at least, cluing in to the information she gave him. He could tell her screaming and those words probably sent the other girl off her rocker, makes sense, you're in a place of crazies, you never know what will make them snap. It's why it was important to defend oneself. He hummed when she finished, his gaze meeting her's for a moment before turned to look up at the sky. "You were close to being free," he finally agreed, "this life, as they call it, it's the real hell, the one that is preached to be where damned souls go..." he drawled, head leaning back on his arms, "we're all damned souls, and death is our saviour." He glanced at her then, his eyes for once not narrowing. "Does this Jakes talk actual form?" he asked, not talking like it wasn't impossible or like she was crazy, just asking if he was an actual image or just a nattering voice in her head.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Did he hat life like she did? It seemed like he knew what it felt to live in a place like this. But that wouldn't matter right? Him and her, nothing a like. Vee was known a freak. And well, who knew what he was known as. Vee looked away and back to her lap. At his question she thought about want to say. Should she tell him? He would probably make fun of her. But then again he hadn't laughed or smirked at her, well at less not yet. Besides it felt good to talk to someone. "I.. See him " she whispers softly. "I saw him walk from one tree to another... He wont leave me alone" she hated the feeling she gets when she remembers jake. She felt sick, she felt like everything was wrong. Like she didn't belong here at all.

Dermott looked at her, reading her expression before he nodded. Schizophrenia, he didn't know what else she probably had, but he knew she had that one at least. It was a damn shame, that he couldn't see or even touch him, because he'd be punching the guy and beating on him so hard... His morals were a little twisted, but what could you do? "He won't ever leave you alone Vee," he finally said, his expression serious and he finally looked away. He wanted to ask more, like what exactly did Jake do, he didn't think they could actually touch her but the mental and emotional damage he could cause was probably something no one could heal. "Had he ever hurt you Vee? Physically I mean," he added.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Did she really need to be told that he would never leave her alone? Wasn't it enough to know she would be living in pain until the day she dies. Why was he even telling her this? Was he trying to rub it in her face. Vee just kept her mouth shut and shook her head no. Jake had never touched her before. Not even a tap on the shoulder. And yet he hurt her like no one else has. Vee wiped her wet eyes with her sleeve. Why is he asking me all these questions? Vee started to hate herself again. She was too weak. She couldn't stand up to herself and tell him to mind his own business. She was too scared of him. Every time she sees him she curls away and avoids eyes contact. Her voice gets below a whisper. It's like she's a trapped animal when its at a sight of a human. And the worst part was he liked it.

((lol it's totally fine, everyone makes mistakes, I sure as hell do xF))

Dermott was watching her, his usual intense way with his emotionless gaze. His eyes narrowed on her when he began reading her, trying to figure out what was going through her head especially when she hadn't answered him. He could see she was upset and confused, the confusion he could infer to do with hm. He could also the fear and hate in her eyes. He had a feeling if he could read minds, he'd be having the time of his life. "Is Jake the reason why?" he asked, his voice low, holding nothing, was just hollow. He knew people tended to either be scared of him or hated him, sometimes he could charm the socks off someone if he tried, but he didn't see the use of that most of the time. This girl though, he wanted to pick apart her mind and figure out how it worked, what she was thinking of, why she was like this. Since he couldn't really do that successfully, he fell back on asking questions, though it was hard since she wasn't the conversational type which made getting answers more difficult and definitely more fun.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) ((Not like me though. Like i would have at less five and u would have one. Sometimes i dont even notice urs tbh))

Vee thought of his question. Still in the back of her head she had the urge to not answer him. But yet her fear still took control of her entire body. But going on, was jake the reason? He wasn't at first. That she knew for fact. But now he is the reason. He's the reason she become like this. The reason she tried to kill herself. The reason she was hear. She nods her head yes to his question. Yes he was the reason. if only someone comes, she thinks to herself. Vee has never wanted someone to come to her before. But if that was the only way for Dermott to stop asking her then so be it. Very quickly, her eyes glance up and scans the yard to see if someone is coming. Sadly she saw no one. She took in a shaky breath, feeling the sadness overwhelm her.

((xD I usually don't notice them, like mine or anyone else's unless it's an obvious spelling mistake... I just know I have them.. >~< I won't ever be an editor, that's for sure xD))

Dermott watched her have her little internal conversation, maybe even a debate, whichever he really couldn't care less unless she actually answered. His eyes narrowed a bit when she nodded in response finally, giving him the answer he needed. He knew there was more to that answer, but it was fit for now. He sat up then, stretching himself out before he turned so he was leaning closer to her, way too close especially for her comfort. "No one's going to save you," he murmured lowly, gaze boring into her, "not from him, not from me, not from yourself. You're perfectly molded into a scared, compliant little girl," he hissed, "your mind is broken, your will is shattered," he stated, "why would your tormentor leave you alone? Why not push you, and continue pushing you to the edge.. You're waiting to fall, but everything is stopping you, so close yet so far. It must be hell." He was being an ass, he knew, he didn't care.
"Ironicly the exact place you want to be, the only person actually helping you is the one person making your life hell," he said coldly, impassive as he leaned back. He was referring to Jake of course, sure he wasn't a legit person, but he was to her and that's what counted.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee started to tense up as he leaned closer. Her hands started to tremble but she clasped them, hoping he wouldn't take notice in them. Why was he telling her? Was he making her hate herself more? She was told this would be a better place. A place where she could be who she wants. And why did he care about who was best for her. She knew most certainly it was not jake. "Stop" she whispers, her voice cracking. She couldn't handle his words. They came crashing to her like a wave of pain. "why are you doing this" she said again softly, bring her hands to cover her ears. "Stop". Very slowly she heard the students laugh at her again.

((xD lol. Dermott is an ass, it's just his character :D Well comparing how he acted around Noah and then Vee, he does act different, not to mention respects the fact she doesn't want to be touched... xF))

Dermott watched her, noticing every little thing especially the shaking. He moved back after a bit, only when she clasped her hands over her ears. He had the urge to rip her hands from her ears but didn't. A cruel smile slid onto his lips, his gaze locked onto her's before he briefly looked around until his gaze landed once again on her.
"Stop what?" he growled darkly, "telling you the truth? How it is," he stated, making his words harsh and loud enough to be heard. "What do you want me to do? Sugar coat it? Tell you you're going to get better, that he'll go away eventually?" he mocked and snorted, "that you'll become strong one day? Believe in yourself?" he rolled his eyes, "like I said, no one can help you, doctors can drug you up, give you therapy all they want but if you're a pathetic weak girl that doesn't want to be 'fixed', then you won't."
He finally looked at her again, "You don't need fixing."

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee hated him so much. She didn't ask for him to sugar it. She didn't even ask him to tell him if she was doing better ether. He was evil. He had not feelings. How could he possibly be liking this. Tears pooled in her eyes.

you know he's right

Vee glanced up to see jake leaning on a tree. "What do you want?" She asks him. Know she had to people laughing at her.

With a smirk, jake shrugs. he's only telling you the truth. Besides, don't be sacred of him. He's a freak like you

"Its enough that you call me freak jake!" She cries. "Why would you call others freaks. Leave him alone" she whispers the last part to herself.

((xD at least)(Sorry btw, been doing math homework >~<))

Dermott sat back, knowing he probably made her feelings towards him worsen, but didn't care either. If she got it through her thick skull was the whole deal. He watched her as she argued with Jake, unfazed and was indifferent to the scenario. So she talked to someone who wasn't there? He was in no place to judge, nor did he really think much of it, everyone talked to themselves at one point it was 'normal'. The term normal was shit though, judged and declared by societies that thought the best of themselves. There is no normal and those who admitted their differences were more often than not were discriminated, outcasted or ended up in shitholes like this place.
He tuned into her words that seemed to be about him, the Jake guy called him a freak? Well he was wrong there, he wasn't a freak, he was freaking insane though. He said nothing for a bit, due to the fact she stood up for herself against Jake, her tormentor. "He's right, I am a freak, in society's eyes, as are you and everyone else in this dump."

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Bees eyes, wet with tears, shifted to Dermott. How could he call himself a freak? Was be proud to be one? Vee couldn't handle it when someone called her a freak but he took it in with open arms. "Why?" She asked softly. In the background jake seemed to disappear, just for a moment. Vee hated it when she was called a freak. She couldn't handle it. She couldn't do anything about it too. But why him? "Why are you happy to be what you are?"

((totally fine))

Dermott could tell she was having a hard time comprehending what he'd told her, 'freak' was just a word, like bitch and whore. It was a term used to label people, outcast them and make them feel like shit. "It's not the word I would use," he said finally, "happy. I can't change who I am, nor would I want to," he stated, "I'm different from other people, I've always known that. I don't want to be like other people, most 'normal' people that call us freaks are the real monsters, they chip away at people's souls, put people down or live in boring repetitive lives," he stated. "Why would I ever want to be like that? Being called a Freak is just a term, a silly word to make me feel outcasted," he stated rolling his eyes, "it is just a word, it doesn't describe who I am, what I am nor does it outline anything about me."

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee listened to his words, actually paying attention to what he was saying. But it just didn't get to her. She was just too insecure to not care. People laughing at you. Having them whisper behind you. Make fun of you to your face. Play a game with you and in the end embarrass you in front of everyone on the day where your supposed to be happy. Her arms slowly wrap around herself and she shakes her head no, her gaze lowing back to her lap. Freak wasn't just a word. It was everything to Vee. It described her. Just because of the one word her life changed. She shook her head again, this time to herself.

Dermott could tell she probably won't ever get his concept, like he's said, she was too broken. Besides the fact he never cared what people think of him, it wasn't important nor a concern for him. Why should he care? It's not like their important aspects in his life, that what they thought actually meant something to him.
He looked away and laid back down on the grass, his head resting on his arms. "You're a freak," he stated, "but it shouldn't matter if you are or not."

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee bit the inside of her cheeks as her eyes stung. But she tried to hold back the tears. She didn't want to seem too weak in front of him. It was enough that she seemed scared. But maybe weakness came along with that. why would he call me that? Vee hated this place, only because she wouldn't be able to kill herself. And the worst part was she expected to much while she was hear. "I thought would understand" she whispered. The way he looked. It seemed like they shared the same style. Yet he still didn't understand how she felt.

Dermott looked over at her, noticing her trying not to cry. It was an easy thing to see, at least for him since he knew the signs. "I'll never understand," he stated simply, "I know where you're coming from and why, but I'll never fully understand personally. I've never cared what others think of me, so I only know where you're coming from, I just never felt that way," he answered her. "If I wasn't a freak, then I would understand," he informed her. If he wasn't a sociopath, then he would be able to have normal human feelings, he would have cried when his mother died, been scarred like her from all the bullying and abuse, but he just lacked the ability to give a shit.
He sighed then, "You can't not be a freak, at least crazy, you see a man no one else can, what else would it make you?"

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee gently started to rock back in forth, just trying to get her body to relax. She didn't believe him. The so called "normal" people in her school are the ones that called her a freak. So how was that if he was the same he would understand her. She thought being in a place like this would make him think the same. But she was mistaken. She took in a deep, shaky breath. She wanted to take more but didn't want to seem to obvious. What was he even doing here? She glanced up to him when he was done speaking then back down. What else was she? She's ugly? Weird? Suicidal? Much more to even remember.

Dermott could see her obvious confusion, could see every emotion that she expressed, all that she was feeling. He didn't move, having a feeling that she was at a very fragile state at the moment and most probably would jump in fright at the slightest twitch from him. "Do you know what a Sociopath is Vee?" he finally asked, intense, cold gaze boring into her as he waited for an answer, a nod or shake of the head would be good enough. He knew she was probably having a hard time understanding his point of view on this. He knew what it was like to be bullied, he'd been bullied most of his life as well would still be if not for the fact they began fearing him after he got mixed up with the law.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee glanced at him. A sociopath. She nodded. She knew what that was. She heard people with these problem, even seen some too since she came here. But why was he asking her this? He didn't think she was, right? Of course not. He told her what she is, that one word she would always forget. But then maybe.... With wide eyes Vee knew why he was asking this. He must be one. She's never spoke with one. Just at the thought of what he is made her fear for him grow. He was a crazy person that killed for no reason. But then again she thought of death, and how that would be a good thing. Still, it coming from him did still scare her.

Dermott watched her after she nodded. Good, he didn't have to spell it out for her, meant less talking for him but also he didn't need to confirm she understood afterwards. He noticed the confusion then the widening of the eyes when she realized why he asked. A smirk grew on his lips when he saw this, seeing the fear increase in her eyes. "Yes, I am labelled as a sociopath," he stated, knowing she already guessed that by now. "To get a better light on the whole condition, I will give you an example, well a category," he drawled, waving his hand a bit. "Most serial killers are diagnosed as sociopaths so you get the complete picture," he said, grinning. "Sociopaths typically 'lack a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience'," he quoted, "they have emotions like anyone else but tend to lack any feelings like love, sorrow, remorse etc," he drawled. "So you can see why being called a freak does not matter to me, nor what people think of me."

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) That explains why he seemed so cold most of the time, well actually all of the time. But she now knows why he didn't understand her point of you of being called a freak. He had no feelings. That was probably the best thing she ever heard. To not have feelings would be something she wants. She wouldn't probably be better. She would probably be able to leave this place and go home, even though going home didn't seem like a good place too. She tried not to think about her parents, but about Dermott. "W-who did you kill?" She asked in a soft tone, only dating once to glance up to his face only to see his crazy grin.

Dermott looked away from her when she began to realize why he was the way he was. Yup, he lacked the capability to feel most things, which also meant he would never fall in love or reciprocate someone else's love. He didn't see that too much of a problem, the drama surrounding that kind of stuff gave him migraines. Other's problem didn't share those thoughts though and probably found that depressing and hard to believe. He laid there, staring up as he let her take that in and only glanced at her when she spoke again. He smirked in amusement at her question, "who did I kill over my lifespan so far, or who I killed to get in here?" he asked for clarification.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Oh god, she swallowed. So he had killed more than one person. And he was smiling? Vee wasn't sure if she wanted to know anymore. But then again, maybe it would be a good idea to know how much he killed right? It was kinda stupid, how she shares a cell with a sociopath. Didn't the people who made this think for a moment about what they were doing with their patients? It didn't seem like it. "How much?" She asked, indicating about his whole life span.

Dermott's smirk widened when he saw the increased fear in her eyes with his response. Oh how amusing this one is, her reactions were splendid. He was going to have fun with her, and she had the pleasure of sharing a cell with him. She won't be able to get away from him any time soon. He waited for a response, wondering if she was going to ask, to know or just ignore that whole thing. He chuckled when she did, indicating she wanted to know it all. "Well, I assisted with a mass murder, terrorists, killed thousands.." he purred coyly, "then there was my girlfriend..." he drifted off, chuckling, "I didn't personally kill her, but I did help her," he said, a twisted smirk on his lips. "Maybe a few more, but the murder that put me in here was my father's."

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Was he trying to say that wasn't a lot? Or that it wasn't a big thing? Thousands! He killed thousands! And a girlfriend? Now did he really help her or what? "W-why?" She asked. How could he be capable of doing such thing? Why would he even want to do such thing. How did he even start with all of this? So many questions went through her mind. All involving in what he told her. Vee shifted on the grass, trying to make sure she would be able to run if it ever came to it. Yes death was a good thing to her, but not from him. Unless she was desperate.

Dermott watched her expression change drastically, overly amused by her reaction. He saw it all but he didn't respond to her question, not for a bit. He just watched her, noticing her squirm and shift, as if preparing to run if she had to. He snorted, he'd easily stopped her from running if he wanted to, plus if she ran it wouldn't go over too well with the nurses, with her wound and all.
He finally answered after a bit, turning to tilt his head up and to the side but his eyes were still on her. "Well, the bombing I assisted with, it was an attack on a jail," he informed her, "why not help?"
"The girlfriend, well she was a clingy bitch, that and she turned out to be cheating on me behind my back," he stated, shrugging, "sure, I really didn't care, but it hurt my ego," he said simply. His expression turned cold then, expression impassive. "My father though, I have personal reasons for that one," he growled, his voice cold, harsh and sharp.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Did this all start with him wanting to help bomb a jail? Was their at less someone in their he wanted out? He was... Weird. Vee had to give him that. Ik maybe not weird.. Maybe crazy? But his girlfriend. Well that kinda makes sense. Vee had a smiler thing too. Except Vee was never really dating, just on a date. But he broke her heart. And instead of her killing him she tried to kill herself. So yah, maybe not quite the same but maybe the same.

Dermott was lost in thought by then, going over his life. It all really started when his mom died, sure he'd always been a strange kid, killed the neighbour's cat when he was two, though that was totally by accident. Not the point though, it began his father's assault and his increase in bullying. The whole bombing the jail thing though, they were holding the gang members that had shot his mother and countless other people. So he felt nothing for helping them bomb it, some redemption for his mother of sorts, in other people's eyes. Despite telling her the other reasons, even the one with his girlfriend that no one could pin the blame on him, he didn't feel the necessity of telling her something personal like that, nor was it too important in his mind. "Any more questions?"

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee shook her head no. She didn't want to ask him anything. But then she worried that he would ask her something and wasn't it enough what he asked her. But it wasn't like they went into details with her, it wasn't like she wanted to. Closing her eyes, Vee tried to not think about him. She softly, below a whisper, continued to hum to the song she was singing before. Maybe this would help her. She didn't want to think about him being her, or her time in school. Or even before that when she was with her family and how they seemed to forget about her after her baby sister. She just slowly went into a world of her own.

Dermott grunted in reply when he saw her shake her head. He closed his eye then, deciding to take in the freedom the yard gave one, the small amount. He stayed laying there on the grass, lost in thought and listening to her hum. His mind went blank, he didn't want to think at the moment, he'd been thinking too much since he'd gotten here. So he just listened to her hum, focusing on that and timing it with his heartbeat. It was an oddly nice silence, for him at least, no worries, like he had any, just nothing but the light breeze and grass. PLus the girl of course but he could deal with her, she wasn't going to randomly murder him, it wasn't how she rolled, that and she had the flight instinct rather than the fight.
