We're always looking for recommendations, so if you're reading a good book and enjoying it let us know!

I'll start I'm currently reading Falling Leaves: The Memoir of an Unwanted Chinese Daughter. Yen Mah's story is heartbreaking, yet inspiring. The narrative is similar to a Cinderella story. Yen Mah's mother dies, her father remarries, and her siblings and stepmother torment her. However, instead of a ball and prince, little Adeline finds refuge in education. I keep reading to see how things go for Yen Mah and to see how she ended up writing this book!

Kathleen McClure (goodreadscomkathleen_mcclure) | 1 comments Re-reading McKinley's The Blue Sword (comfort read), as well as When, by Daniel Pink, a non-fiction on chronotypes and how time rules us allll! Okay less ominous but really, we could solve a lot of problems by knowing when we're at our best. Just finished the first in a cozy sci fi called Space Deputy by Jenny Schwartz and another non-fiction, The Culture Map by Erin Meyer (I tend to try for one learning, one fiction at a go :) ).
