The book starts off with the heroine saving some kids who were climbing and got stuck in a storm. An agent is following here. Back home in the states she restores old paintings. someone is after her because of her father who stole artwork. The agent and them meet and he protects her. I remember that they go to this house where she teaches him to free climb so they can get into a castle. At the end her father is shot in front of her eyes but he didnt really die. it was a faked death and they go to a cottage together.
