Mabel | 1 comments Read in 2012/2013. Serial killer recreates past crimes exactly and perfecting them. He thought that the previous murderers were caught as their murders had some imperfections. Therefore, he recreates them and perfects them, ensuring that there is no evidence or clues left behind. I somewhat remember him leaving a mark but might be from a different book. It has alternating chapters of the POV of the serial killer, detective and sometimes the victim.

One specific chapter that I can remember from the book is -
A girl (the victim) and her friend stays in a dorm. The serial killer comes in to kill her friend while she managed to hide under the bed and not get seen. However, the serial killer comes back and finishes her off. He perfected the crime by chopping the fingers of the ladies off as they managed to scratch him while struggling.
