Julia (OP) was last active on the site in March 2020.
It was about a girl whos family could all transform into a different creature. I think it was like a dragon or some kind of creature like that, They bled differently than red, I think it was pink? She starts dating the son of a "dragon" hunting family. (I put it in quotations because I can't remember if it's truly a DRAGON or not.) They were madly in love with eachother and he did not know her secret or the secret of her family. (That being that they are what he hunts.) One night while they were out she gets hurt and starts bleeding, panicing hoping he doesn't see he lends her an article of his clothing and then they head back to his house. In the morning realizing her mistake (that she bleeds a different color, if he found out/saw he would know that she was a "dragon") She frantically looks for it and takes back that clothing piece. She has 1 younger sibling (a brother, i think.) and she was the oldest in her family. I am pretty sure her parents died to hunters and that it was just her and her younger sibling for a while, They were starving and poor before she met him, his parents were rich and I'm pretty sure it mentioned him driving a jeep? Lol. It wasn't an erotica story you'd find in the "For Women" section. At the end of the story they head to a bar and get into a fight with others or she gets ambushed? Him seeing what she truly was I think afterwards she jumps off a cliff and kills herself. I THINK. It might not be since I was really young when I read it but it was my favorite book, I want to get back into reading so I am hoping to find this book again and help me get back into my once was groove. I had it on paperback.
