Karen | 351 comments Hello and happy march all !
This month we will be reading Expiation, first published in 1929 and republished by Persephone Books in 2019 book number 133.
Who will be joining us this month?
Best wishes Karen and Gina

I started this one today, not far in yet, but I think it'll be a goodie.

I read this one a wee while ago and really enjoyed it. I'll try to join in although I'm reading Mantel's The Mirror and the Light at the moment.

Veronique | 90 comments Where has the month gone? Well... Anyway. I’m isolating since I might be at risk, and so no excuse to get reading :O) I loved Arnim’s The Enchanted April and have high expectations for this one.

Hope you’re all healthy and staying safe :O)

Lynaia | 8 comments I loved both of these books. Enchanted April had a lot more description of scenery to it whereas Expiation really didn’t and was more about the interactions between and thoughts of the different characters. Expiation seemed to be more of a quick read because of this.
