Lynne Stringer | 115 comments I just finished Den of Wolves, the final book in the Blackthorn and Grim trilogy by Juliet Marillier. Loved it. Great fantasy world-building for those of you who like that. She writes fantastic fantasy books.

Tony Calder (tcsydney) | 1069 comments I finished The Protocol. As expected, a quick read, and quite enjoyable. That said, it's very rare that I will read more than one of the modern military-adventure thriller type books in a row (even though there are currently 26 or so books in this series). So now I'm starting Percival and the Presense of God: Young Percival's Quest for King Arthur & the Holy Grail

Elizabeth Lavender | 1 comments I just finished reading the Elemental Trilogy by Toni Cox. I read the all three in under a week after I got home from work. I couldn't put it down once I started the first book. The trilogy was an incredible read. I left a review on the last book.

Eve | 5 comments I just finished up reading the Night Light by Terri Blackstock. I am currently reading Hearts Made Whole by Jody Hedlund which is book number 2 in the Beacon of Hope series.

Andrea | 3547 comments Finished An Autumn War (need to go catch up on that buddy read from a couple years ago and see if I can add any comments). Enjoyed it very much, and I was surprised at how well Abraham was able to job my memory of the first two books when its been quite a while since I read them. When I first picked it up I couldn't have told you any of the character names, by the end, I felt like there hadn't been any gap between books at all I was so much back into that world. I won't leave the last for for as long but I won't read it right away.

I did pick up a non-SFF book, it's pretty short so should be getting back to the Dark Tower soon.

Oh, while I was stocking up at the library before it shut down for Covid-19 I found a couple Catwings books by Ursula K. Le Guin. They looked so cute I couldn't resist grabbing them. Guess it qualifies for all those comfort read emails I'm getting from Amazon, GR, Kobo and Indigo :)

NekroRider | 497 comments I finished Terra Nullius and rated it 2.75/5 stars. It was just ok for me. I respect what the author was trying to do and I think its an important story to tell, but found the writing too repetitive for me.

I think I'm going to shift over to a mystery now with The Shadow District by Arnaldur Indridason

Katherine Vick | 12 comments I've just started reading Neil Gaiman's American Gods. I'm slightly ashamed I've never read it before, it's one of those books I've had for ages and not quite got around to.

Mary Catelli | 990 comments Hope you enjoy it but I find he's hit or miss, and Gods was a miss.

Pierre Hofmann | 207 comments Last night I finished The Republic of Thieves. While I didn't enjoy that book as much as the previous two in the series, it was still a pleasant reading. It is unfortunate that the author doesn't seem to be able, sofar, to produce the next volume of the series.

After browsing in my list of books-to-read I settled on Senlin Ascends, that I'll start reading today, and this should keep me busy for quite some time.

Andrea | 3547 comments I bounced back and forth between two options and settled on The Waste Lands by Stephen King to keep the momentum going with The Dark Tower.

I just picked out The Lost Hero for my May reading plans :) I intend to read the whole 5 book series by end of year.

NekroRider | 497 comments I finished The Shadow District
and rated 4/5 stars. As usual with Indridason mysteries, I sped right through it. This new mystery series of Indridason's takes place in both WWII Iceland and the present day Iceland. The mystery in this one about a mysterious murder from the 1940s and a possibly connected murder in the present day, following detectives working the cases in both time periods.

I'm continuing with the next book in the series, The Shadow Killer

Lynne Stringer | 115 comments Just finished A New Reality, the second book in the Jewel of the Stars series by Adam David Collings. I really enjoyed it. A New Reality (Jewel of The Stars - Season 1 #2) by Adam David Collings
