I agree. This is a very good book. It won the Pulitzer in 2015. Here is my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
All the Light We Cannot See is an insanely good book! Wonderful recommendation. I'm getting emotional just thinking about it. My review is here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...I've heard The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is similar (it's set in WW2 but I believe there were other reasons). Have any of you read that? I want to get to it soon.
Other than time frame, I don't see much similarity between the two books. The Book Thief is definitely a book to read before you die. It's on our 100 list. I think we must have made the 100 list before All the Light We Cannot See was published, or surely it would have been on it, too.

If you want a warm story to accompany you then I would like to suggest this one.
