Maiko-chan [|] (maiko-chan) | 10 comments Earlier I found that the boxset Shattered Hearts: The Complete Series had not been added to the Shattered Hearts series. I added the boxset to the series, reordered book numbers (i.e. changing Forever Ours to "0.5" rather than the previous "book 1", etc), and changed which were marked as primary. However, I'm unsure which book number to give the boxset as it consists of books #0.5 and 1-4, excluding #3.5 Abandon. Rather than create inaccuracies, I would be very appreciative of any other librarian who would be able to help mark the boxset with the correct book number.

Nan (xxmzsmilesxx) | 1167 comments I would number it 0.5-4 but that's my opinion.

Maiko-chan [|] (maiko-chan) | 10 comments That's what I had thought as well, but I wasn't sure and looking through GR so far hasn't cleared things up. But if no one else comes up with any other thoughts I think that's what I'll do.

Amanda | 2442 comments Personally, I would do "0.5, 1-4"

Since it excludes the 3.5 book, this might help denote that the 4 full stories are included and also the first short story.

But Nandar's suggestion works too.

Maiko-chan [|] (maiko-chan) | 10 comments Thanks Amanda! I already went with Nandar's suggestion just a bit ago, but that's another excellent point. I'll be more than happy to change my edit should anyone second either of the aforementioned suggestions or if someone comments with something more accurate.

Z-squared | 8575 comments You can always add something in the series description field to clarify that the boxed set doesn't include #3.5

I can't believe I spaced on that, thank you so much Z! Although and maybe this is a silly question, but would that be very different from writing something in the text box that pops up upon hitting the 'note' button listed with the specific book in question, or is the note feature used only for between librarians and invisible to other users?

Z-squared | 8575 comments I wouldn't put it in the note section, because as you've pointed out, that's invisible to everyone but librarians. I'd put it in the description field, which is visible to all users. I'd probably put something like,

"Note: Shattered Hearts: The Complete Series does not include Abandon (Shattered Hearts, #3.5)."

You could (and probably should) add something to the book's page itself in its description field to denote that fact, too.

Yes.

Maiko-chan [|] (maiko-chan) | 10 comments Sounds perfect and thank you so very much for sheding some light on that matter, I was confused about the specifics of the note feature.

And thank you again to Nandar and Amanda for all the help and being patient with me. You guys have all been amazing.

The description for the boxset already ends with:
"This set includes:
- Forever Ours (197 pages)
- Relentless (262 pages)
- Pieces of You (372 pages)
- Bring Me Home (389 pages)
- Chasing Abby (372 pages)"
Do you think that's enough or should I fully specify on the book's description that #3.5 isn't included in that list?

Hmmm. I think that's probably enough, especially as you're already adding info on the series page.
