Anne Grete Holje I joined goodreads July 2019 and read 54 books throughout the year.
During the summer I usually read more than rest of the year. With that in mind, 150 books this year seemed ok.
By now I am doing good, so I wonder if rest of the year will be just as good.
I read both books, audiobooks and read books for my 11 year old son.
I have a lot of good books to look forward to.
I like feelgood, drama, romantics and historical fiction best.

Anne Grete Holje By now I have read 25 books, that sounds like a lot, but it is true. Some is audiobooks, some is childrens books for my son and the rest is books for me ;)

My further plan:

26. Potensgiverne- Karin Brunk Holmqvist
27. Charlotte's web
28. Håkon- Åsmund Eikenes
29. Molly and me- Colin Butcher

Anne Grete Holje ok. I'm impressed by how many books you have read. I always have a book going, mostly 2 or 3. 1 paperbook, 1 audio and 1 I read to my son in bed. :)

Veronica Marshall (vimars) | 135 comments I started tidelands and couldn’t finish it so it’s sitting on my desk right now I don’t count it as a third. I’m most likely not going to finish it . I had three going earlier this week , because I had to put an arc on hold ( I won it so I wasn’t obligated to do a review or anything ) but i chose to. So it was crescent city purple emperor and where dreams descend. I can’t do audiobooks, or anything on a kindle or nook.

Anne Grete Holje Ok. I love audiobooks, they let me read books while I do domestic work

Veronica Marshall (vimars) | 135 comments It would help moneywise when books come out. I have heard problems with narrators though people don’t like them. It’s I think and read faster hearing to processing reading wise wouldn’t be as fast. Which would annoying me personally. What do you do ?

message 13: by Anne Grete (new)

Anne Grete Holje I didn't understand what you meen. Do you meen that you read faster than the narrators?

message 14: by Veronica (new)

Veronica Marshall (vimars) | 135 comments I can’t do audiobooks because I read faster then processing speech. Also I’m not good at multitasking I see that a lot of people do audio books for reading and other things.

Anne Grete Holje For me it is perfect to listen to audiobooks while I do work in the house! :) For me it is not a problem how fast they read. You can speed up the tempo in the app also.
