KarenLee I read 4-5 books (I believe they were mysteries) by an author, whose main character was bipolar. I cannot remember the author's name or any of the book titles. I believe I read them 4-5 years ago. They were very well written and discussed the issues of being bipolar and taking medications. All of these books were paperbacks. I don't know if they were ever in hardback. Thanks for any help.

Lisa Vegan (lisavegan) | 1396 comments I think you're thinking of Abigail Padgett . I love her books and have read them all. Lots of great Native American material too in some and child neglect/abuse issues too. Unfortunately, I don't think she's still writing them.

Child of Silence
Strawgirl
The Dollmaker's Daughters
Moonbird Boy
Turtle Baby

KarenLee Wow! 5 minutes. Thank you so much!!

Lisa Vegan (lisavegan) | 1396 comments Well, I love those 5 books. The two in her other "Blue" series I didn't like as much. I wish she'd write more, but I have this feeling these 5 will be all we'll have. Great books!

Was trying to add my message #4 to my message #2 but it posted as a separate message. ??? (This edit worked. Hmm.)
