Taya has been dancing since she was 6. Around 9 years old, her dream was set and stone to be a New York Rocket. But that's nothing important. Her father died in a car crash when she was 10 and her mother was in a state of depression. As her mother didn't care anymore, Taya started getting into contemporary and hip hop. She loved how contemporary was smooth and rough in times you could let your heart out. Hip hop, you could just dance freely and her energy went so well with it. Her mom started getting better over the years, seeing that she is a Professional Ballet Teacher/Dancer, she wasn't working at all. Her mother got back on her feet and providing for Taya and her siblings.

Damon's mothe and father ditched him when he was little. He doesn't even remember. All he does remember are the foster parents he's been to. Cruel, rude, abusive, but his last foster parents changed his life. They but Damon back into highschool and put him into dance classes. His foster parents were old and they died when he turned 17. Growing up, Sunny always had a passion for dancing, and danced no matter where she was. She was an introverted child, so she found her only escape through dance. While Sunny was learning new dance techniques, she also maintained high grades. Her parents were okay with her dancing because of her focus on education. Sunny's little sister always went with her to the dance classes for many years. The Jung family was a happy family, but then disaster struck. From a young age she was always cheery and happy. she loves her family and grew up with a happy life in a big house. by the house there was her families farm which she often visited. she went to a school for genisuses until her parents realized she was becoming more withdrawn and insecure. they removed her but she still developed depression. from then on she focused on her dance. she always did dance five days a week two hours but then she does it every day five hours a day. she grew to love it and her parents worried that she would grow more insecure. she did and quickly. but she was so happy that she started pretending she was better. she grew even more depressed but she became top of all her classes. they made her spend more time on other things like art and reading/writing. then her parents transferred her to here.

Annabella started dancing when she was 8 years old. Her parents were supportive with everything she did and were quite proud with her success. However, Anna knew she wasn't as good as the others. Around the age of 14, Anna started to practice more, skipping school to go to the gym or staying at the dance hall later then everyone else. She would push herself till she couldn't dance anymore or her parents forced her to stop. She was 16 when she sustained her first serious injury. After seeing an older dancer perform an amazing twirl, she wanted to try it as well. She went for it but landed wrong, dislocating her knee in the process. She was rushed to the hospital and put into surgery due to a few tendons tearing slightly. Anna thought she would never be able to dance again. The doctor told her she would have to recover for at least a year. During this time, Annabella became slightly depressed. She would hardly eat or go out. Any mention of dance made her angry or recluse. Her recovery time took much longer then needed, due to her practicing in secret before hurting herself even more. She has recently started dancing again and her confidence level is dwindling. Anna's never ending fear is that she will hurt herself again, but permanently.

Sloane Charlotte Weatherfield was born in a small town in Wales called Newport. Her parents, Dawn and James, were thrilled to have a daughter. Later, they had 3 more daughters: Charlotte, Emily, and Madison. Sloane also had three older brothers: Jack, Riley, and Connor. All of the kids in her family are one year apart.
Sloane grew up close to her family. As the middle child, she was used to not getting a lot of attention. Her sisters were her best friends. Her older brothers teased them, as you would expect. Sloane's mother was a stay at home mom, as you would expect with 7 kids. Sloane's father made quite a good living, enough for a family of 4 to lead an upper-middle class lifestyle. Evan grew up in France with his parents and twin sister, Christia. Their mom home schooled them in English, since she was from England, and their dad taught them French. So the two of them were super close. Their mom wanted them to know how to dance, she had grown up a dancer and she used to be a ballerina in England. But she wanted them to know how to dance, Christia was better at ballet then he was. He isn't graceful as her, sh=o his mom made him pick a type of dance he would like. SO he choose hip hop dancing, he didn't really want to dance, but his mom wanted him to. So he choose it because it seemed cool. As he did it over the years he got really good and started to like it, and now he and his sister are coming to this school knowing what some one in collage should know and really good dancers.
That's what his mom thinks his life was, dance.
But it wasn't.
His dad taught him to play guitar and helped him sing better. His dad owns a restaurant in Angry and Evan helped him cook and serve people since her was nine.
He had his first crush when he was 14, after he started helping his dad and he became a waiter. She came in everyday after school and most days he worked alone so he helped everyone until dinner time. Her name was Scarlet and he started to like her after seeing her everyday for almost a year, and it wasn't just because she was cute or pretty.
She asked him why he was working and she never had seen him at school, and over time they got to know each other really well. So he planned to ask her out, the day she brought a date with her. Adrian is one of the most arrogant people you will ever come across. He doesn't usually associate with other people, and likes to get his own way, on and off the stage. He knows he is good, and this knowledge often leads him to look down on others. It's a fact to him that no one can dance beside him as an equal, and contrary to popular belief, this angers him - for he is a perfectionist. He has brought many a dance partner to the point of tears with his blunt criticisms and 'you just weren't meant for this'. He believes that dancing is about more than just precision - anyone can learn to dance, but you are either born with raw talent, or you are not.

Before Adrian was born, his father had already left his mother, and Adrian himself would never know him. The only thing he had of his father was his looks and his name. His mother died during childbirth, leaving Adrian without a family, completely orphaned. Alone, living in constant care, Adrian saw a video of Le Sacre du Printemps which to the present is still one of his favourite ballets. In the orphanage, at 11 years old, he taught himself certain scenes.
One of the older children told him about open auditions at the Royal Ballet, and without a second thought, he went down there, without shoes, or proper dress, or anything really. When he stood on the stage, a small boy with messy golden hair, bare feet and a pair of girls' leggings, they were not ready to take him seriously. He was nothing but determined that day, to show the world that he was worthy of doing as other children did, and as the music played, he let go, and let the dance dance itself. He was informed that very night that they had accepted him, but he was an orphan with no family to pay the tuition...
And so, in what seemed to be desperation, the school gave him a scholarship, allowing him free tuition. Thus, it could not have worked out better for him. A favourite of the teachers, classroom or dancehall, and respected by the other students for having a scholarship, he flourished at the school. Nothing made him happier than getting the main parts in the ballets they put on, or being chosen for duets in promotional showcases, and though the other student feared his mean comments and ruthless rehearsals, even they enjoyed dancing with him. He transferred to the National School of Dance upon request, and though he misses his old teachers, he like the rise in talent at his new school.
He got where he was on his own merits, out of his own talent, and he dislikes when people lack the passion or gratefulness he possesses, and for that reason, he is often misunderstood.

Monroe is very firm in all of the decisions she makes and everything she believes in. It's rather hard to change her mind about anything. She's confident in herself and especially in her dancing; she believes it's the only way to succeed. She's a very reliable friend - once you befriend her, of course. She'll keep your secrets till death do you part and help plot to kill whoever looked at you funny in the hallway. She tries to be as relaxed as she can be; she generally over-stresses about every little thing, so she's been trying to get ahold of herself long enough to convince herself she doesn't have to worry about every aspect of her life, especially the things out of her control. Monroe is particularly witty and sarcastic, sometimes overly sarcastic, but at that point it falls into the "negatives" category.

Monroe is also very secretive which results in a lot of lost friendships; most people don't want to spend a lot of time with the person they know nothing about, and those who do are her only true friends. Monroe grew up in the famous city of New York, in the Upper East Side right in the hustle and bustle of the city. She grew up in Sunday brunches and Friday night cocktail parties, with dresses that costed more than her tuition and family members that have been making more money than she can possibly fathom since they arrived in the US. The term "old money" is the only thing she had to hear before she'll start paying attention.
Her mother and father never got along; their constant fighting and crying seemed so normal to her. Divorce was more common than marriages in her circle of family friends, so it didn't come as much of a shock when she found the divorce papers at the age of six. Mom and Dad filed for divorce two years after they had Monroe's brother and only sibling, Julian. Neither of them were old enough to make an official decision of who they wanted to be with and where they wanted to go, but it was no secret that Monroe loved her life in the city and Julian didn't. When she was seven, it became a routine process to visit her mother and brother in Phoenix on her father's dime whenever she desired, and the process has never changed. She accepted the change well.
Monroe considers herself a real-life Blair Waldorf. Drama has been the only thing she's known since she started school, and though it took a lot of clawing with viscous rumors, she finally made it to the top of her school to declare herself as the Queen Bee - that is, until she transferred. She spent her first year of high school in New York, and it wasn't until her second year that she found the National School of Dance, and it was one of the toughest decision of her life to leave New York and her throne behind for the school, but dance has always been the most important thing to her.

Oliver is nearly always positive. Despite his constant negative-sounding sarcasm, he has a genuine positive outlook on life and is usually never deeply sad or disturbed. He's got an incredibly playful attitude that makes it hard for people to take him seriously, but when the situation calls for it, he can shut up and listen. He's smart, above average in nearly all aspects, which is why his parents don't 100% support his choice to pursue his dance career when he could have easily gone to a prestigious high school and then straight on to Ivy League. He's never really loved school; he just kind of floats by too easily.

He lacks a lot of self-confidence, and he's not really sure where it started. He thinks it's something deeper, but that's also why he didn't go to a normal school and study psychology. He doesn't really want to find out. He'd rather just grow out of it. Oliver can also be painfully shy; trying to get anything out of him when you don't know him is like pulling teeth. Eventually, though, he will open up. And after he does, you'll wish he'd go back to not talking at all. He's a little talkative, and his "what the hell" sarcastic attitude can be a little overbearing sometimes. He's also suffered from depression for over six years, which most people usually don't want to deal with.

Unfortunately, Oliver is the youngest of four - and his three siblings are girls. It was the reason he started ballet. Two of them never stuck with it, but his third sister decided to stay with ballet just because she liked the pretty costumes, and eventually she fell in love with the dance. They grew up with both their parents in small suburb near Denver, and it was a rather hectic house. With four children and a rather lazy father who spent more time trashing the house than cleaning it, Oliver could tell that his mother was overworked.
He wasn't sure what caused it. No one was sure what caused it. But one morning, when he was ten-years-old, he woke up to his dad screaming and demanding his oldest sister call nine-one-one. Two days later, the doctors couldn't figure out what caused her to slip away in her sleep. A day after that, Oliver had to watch his mother be lowered into the ground. His father, though still alive, started withering away like a dying flower you didn't water enough. He was no longer causing half the chaos in the house anymore, spending every second of his day with his children. He was forced to work three jobs to cover the bills on their home, and all his siblings started work as soon as they were legally allowed. His tuition is mostly covered by scholarships and financial aid, and just the little his family has to pay is a burden on everyone.
Dance has always been his outlet; there's nothing else he'd rather be doing, and even though it still costs him an arm and a leg, his dad fully supports him.
