I can handle blood guts and gore in horror movies and still root for the bad guy. But the instant he kills a puppy I despise him with everything I have lol

If it was an accident or a necessity and they're not happy about it ok, but otherwise nope. Even if our hero kills a dog for a spell or something stupid like that I hate them for it

Let's start with pets. Well just say that they were brought by the staff so they wouldn't be trained to attack. But maybe someone can have some sort of tool to make it go all crazy or something.

There are those things that makes the super high pitched noise that only dogs can hear. Could always just hold one of those down so the dogs flip. But it would just annoy the dogs (a lot) and maybe give them a headache and not hurt them.

Actually why don't we just use that day as a diversion. it could be the days were the assassin (or who ever is doing the killing) can plan and get everything. like the acid and guns and so on. since the staff will be busy they'll be able to stash away the objects and whatever it is that need to be done

The we could do ice cream. something could be put that will effect people but the staff would think it was an allergic reaction so they wouldn't think someone did it. We could have a one or two people die but most can get sick. that could be next
