It's actually a memoir so I'm moving this to Nonfiction.

I may have to read this if it's so bad.

Thank you! I do not remember it being so bad. I guess it is about expectations. When I read it I did not realize it was a memoir. I love books that have a theme with regard to someones hobby or profession. It fascinates me because I enjoy that kind of detail.

Seems like many of the reviewers didn't necessarily find it badly written, they just hated the author with a fiery passion.
