I enjoyed this series so I'm going to go through it again!
This comment is for those who have read this book before. It's a moment of foreshadowing you would not have caught reading it the first time. I saw it this time.

You're right!
Going to start the audio tomorrow. read it a few years ago and want to hear what the audio sounds like.
I know nothing of the audio book world, but was just told last week that if ever someone should go audio, it is Game of Thrones. Apparently the reader is a phenom!Dominique wrote: "Debra wrote: "This comment is for those who have read this book before. The narrator is pretty good. Some of the accents are a bit intense for my liking and I don’t like how he pronounces some things different than the show but I’m sure the audiobook came out before the show so that’s prob why.
I'm only at the beginning of the book but I already love the subtle differences the characters have from the TV series. I was afraid that I'd keep imagining what we got on TV and mixed it up with the books, but I'm guessing separating the characters from both medium won't be a problem.

I just wanted to mention how much Robert Baratheon's life seems based on Henry VIII. As the story progresses, the events of Robert's life are much like Henry's. The physical attributes and the hobbies Robert enjoys (good and bad) are also like King Henry.
I finished this book today and it was just as good the second time around. I can't wait for the next one! Winter is coming! 🐺
I finished it too and I've gotta say that I liked it more in this re-read. The first time I read it was after I had seen a few episodes of the show and by then I already had a favorite character Dany and so when I went to the book it was hard to read little snippets of all the other characters because I mostly wanted to read about her. In this reread, I've already seen the whole show and like most of the characters so I enjoyed reading the book and the little snippets a lot more. I also saw a lot of foreshadowing as well like the others who have commented here and not sure if you noticed this foreshadowing(view spoiler)
