Alex | 13 comments Are you looking for a careful editor or proofreader who will champion your voice? Do you want your readers to fully immerse themselves into your story without the distraction of a misspelling or an awkward sentence?

I'm at your service! I would be happy to proofread or edit your fiction without any judgment. I specialize in fantasy, contemporary fiction, sci-fi, and romance. Genres outside of this scope are also welcome.

Proofreading
I will correct your manuscript of any typographical or grammatical error. This is recommended for later stages of your writing, when you are satisfied with the structure and flow of your story. You will receive a redline copy of your work showing all of my edits.

Copyediting
I will edit your manuscript for style (capitalization, spelling, punctuation, grammar, syntax). I will also edit for accuracy, consistency, and readability to help your story shine. The goal of copyediting is to polish your manuscript with a light hand to preserve your voice and style. You will receive a redline copy of your work showing all of my edits and suggested changes as well as a style sheet prepared for your manuscript.

Currently accepting manuscripts of up to 10,000 words (longer manuscripts can be discussed) for March and April. I look forward to hearing from you!

Anna Carty (annacarty) | 10 comments Hello. Is your offer still valid? I would appreciate a couple of chapters (about 5000 words) copyedited. It's a contemporary romance. Thanks.

Whiskey Milk (whiskeymilk) | 7 comments Hi! I would love it if you could take a look at a few short chapters of my contemporary romcom novel. I've been editing it for a while and I'm not sure how much more needs to be done. Advice would be greatly appreciated. My email is happyforestry@gmail.com. thanks!
