Eden shrugged at Everett's comment. "Well, you've got clues based on their backstories. We just have to find stuff that could possibly relate or present similarly to being possessed or whatever else." She replied, grabbing the book that Everett had suggested she read.

Jacoby nodded. "we've been trying. But we don't have a lot to go on and we don't have any sort of good way to approach people about it."

Everett nodded at Jacoby's words, that basically being what he was thinking."I have ideas for sure. Like for the people that have moved stuff like that could be a witch or a sorcerer? But I doubt there are that many sorcerers all in one spot, so you guys have to be different in some kinda way."

"And they might not just be able to move stuff like I can," Vivian said with a shrug.

Jacoby nodded slightly.

Eden listened to Everett's explanation and made a few more notes. She hid her annoyance at the fact that he was theorizing about everyone else while he wouldn't tell any of them about what he himself was.

"We do know nothing is off the table. After all, we have a literal angel with us so there's the possibility for some pretty strong supernatural beings being here," Everett said, thinking a little bit,"With what they claim Stella did, maybe she could be a type of demon? And I get a sort of...feeling from Shane. I'm not 100%, but I might have an idea of what he is."

[Fallen]

Eden made note of Everett’s comments. “alright. What’s your idea about Shane?” She asked him quietly, trying to keep pushing more details from him rather than letting him be all secretive.

Everett looked at her when she asked that, not wanting to reveal it. One, just in case he was wrong, and two, telling her how he came up with the idea would probably reveal what he was as well."Same thing I am. Or at least similar."

Eden scoffed. “Can you stop beating around the bush and say what you actually think? It’s not fair of you to analyze and constantly try to figure us out when you won’t even let us in enough to understand what your ideas about yourself are.” She told him quietly.

"No," Everett said simply and quickly, moving from his spot leaning against the table and looking to Jacoby,"I'm gonna go do some more research about this stuff, see what I can see. Vivian, try to talk to Albany and Stella, might be able to figure something out." With that, he left to room to go look at some books.

Vivian nodded, watching as he left the room before looking at Jacoby."Why doesn't he want anyone to know what he is?"

Eden shook her head. She wasn’t gonna let it go that easily. She took her notebook and the book before heading to the library to at least invade Everett’s space a bit where she could try to figure him out.

Jacoby shrugged and sat in one of the desk chairs. “He’s just a bit shy of it. Doesn’t want people to treat him differently because of it. Plus, we all know he hates attention. It seems like Eden’s gonna challenge that though.” He explained, watching Eden head out.

Everett knew Eden was following him and he sighed, looking over his shoulder to glare at her."Can you not follow me?"

Vivian nodded at the words, looking away from the door once Eden had left to look back at Jacoby instead."Makes sense. I mean, is it really bad?"

(( Werewolves are just really rare, there's not a lot of them and the ones that there are are either used as attack dogs for the Lyle group or are being hunted after by them because they're too dangerous to let be alone. They're considered unstable and freaks basically lol ))

Eden shrugged. “You said you were doing research. I wanted to do some too. So no, I’m not gonna not follow you.” She answered. “Is that a problem?” She questioned, challenging him slightly.

Jacoby shrugged. “I don’t think it’s all that bad. Just a bit dangerous. But he’s got himself under control and he’s got me too.” He explained.

Everett sighed heavily and turned to face her, a slight glare on his face."Why are you so obsessed with figuring out what I am? If I don't wanna tell nobody, then I shouldn't have to. It's no ones business."

Vivian nodded, curious about what he was, but no way was she gonna try and make him tell her. Everett scared her enough already.

“Agreed. It’s not. But you’re also going around and sticking labels on everyone else. You can’t be surprised when we try to label you in return.” Eden answered, looking at him and not backing down.

“He’s got in under control though. And I’m practically his buffer to keep him from causing too much harm or anything.” Jacoby assured.

"I'm trying to label them because I don't know what they are, and I don't think they do either. I already know what I am," Everett said, clearly annoyed with her persistence.

"That's good," Vivian said with a smile, looking around for a moment. This is the first time she had been alone in such a small space with Jacoby....It brought a bit of a blush to her cheeks. She cleared her throat though and pointed to her pillow."Wanna do a little bit of practicing? Maybe I can try moving the pillow?"

Eden shrugged. “What if they’d rather not know?” She pointed out, heading into the library and over to one of the small tables.

Jacoby nodded. “Sure. If you want, try and launch it at me, I can catch it and then it won’t be as noisy as if hitting the wall or anything.” He suggested.

(Lol. Maybe after I finish the ones I’m currently reading)

"It's literally a life or death situation Eden, they don't really have a choice as far as I'm concerned," Everett said, seeing her pointing to a table. He glared deeper, but did follow her, not sitting down though.

Vivian nodded at the suggestion and turned so she was looking at the pillow. She took a few deep breaths to try and control everything she was feeling before she tried to move it. It was kinda hard to start off though since she had never done it before.

“Then will you talk me through it? I’m not understanding the life and death part besides getting out of here and you seem to have a better understanding of it.” Eden asked, setting her stuff on the table.

Jacoby glanced between her and the pillow to see if she got it to move and be ready to catch it if she did.

Everett sighed heavily and scratched his head."My dad told me stories of people that use and do experiments on people who are supernatural. This might be that kinda situation."

Vivian concentrated on it, her hand extended out to it to see if she could get any sort of movement at all. After a little bit, and a lot of concentration, she managed to move it in just the slightest.

Eden nodded slightly. “Alright. That’s fair. Do you think the drugs and stuff are more likely experimental but they’re trying to keep us chill and unaware of it?” She questioned.

Jacoby watched as she tried to get the pillow to move. “You’re getting it, at least a bit.” He complimented.

"I think they're just trying to keep us chill, at least the ones who don't know what they are. Cause Jacoby and I don't have to take them," Everett replied with a shrug.

"I guess it did a little bit," Vivian said, looking over at him and smiling a bit. This certainly wasn't what she had been planning to today, but she did feel a little bit better knowing that she wasn't totally loosing her mind.

Eden nodded slightly. “I’ve been trying to avoid taking them honestly.” She admitted. “They make me feel really weird...”

Jacoby nodded slightly. “That’s something at least. And I’m sure it’ll get better with more practice.” He assured.

"I imagine they probably do. No one has good experiences with them I think, since it's pushing down their powers," Everett said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Yeah," Vivian said and continued to try and use her powers to move the pillow.

“So if everyone stopped their meds, we’d probably be a lot different?” She guessed softly.

Jacoby helped encourage her and tried to help however he could do she could get used to her abilities.

"The powers would be showing up a lot more probably, yeah. They wouldn't be pushed down by the chemicals in the medicine is everyone just stopped taking them. It could also be why Vivian can't control it easily, would probably be easier if she didn't have the medicine in her system," Everett said with a shrug.

Eden nodded. “Alright. So maybe that’d be a place to start. If we can get everyone off their meds, I think it’ll make it easier to get a better idea about abilities..” she suggested. “But they must know about you and Jacoby then if you’re not being forced to take anything? Right?”

"Yeah, they have to know about us. That's one of the suspicions I noticed right away is they didn't give us any medicine. That means they know giving them to us won't do any good in not figuring out what we are, we already know," Everett said with a shrug.

Eden nodded slightly. “Okay.” She agreed quietly. “Have they tried to test anything on either of you? Like experimenting? Cause if they know, it doesn’t make sense for them to be keeping you here for no reason.”

"I grew up in a lab, so yeah, a lot of tests done on me," Everett said, though he didn't actually remember too much of it, just the really bad stuff,"As for why I'm here, I was stolen from the lab by someone, my foster mother said it was my father that took me and they've been looking for me for years. I had to change my name and everything."

Eden nodded slightly. “I’m sorry to hear that you had to go through all that.” She commented quietly, studying him for a moment. He was definitely complicated and she had no clue how to figure him out.

"It doesn't really bother me, but they did something to my foster family. My mother and sister were both like me and they would've never let them take me if they could help it. So that means that something must've happened to them," Everett said, shaking his head,"I need to get out so I can find them."

Eden nodded. “Okay. Then I’ll help you to get out. If we’ve all got abilities, there’s no way they’ll be able to handle us.” She commented quietly. “We just have to get everyone figured out..”

"Theoretically yes, we have the upper hand. But there's only 2 of us that really know how to work their powers. That might not be that big of an issue if we get out quietly. We just gotta convince everyone to come with us," Everett said.

Eden nodded. “Okay. I don’t think Vivian will be hard to convince. She’s really interested in Jacoby. I don’t know about anyone else though.” she commented softly.

"Yeah I don't know either. I know most of them want out of here, but I dunno how easy it'll be to convince them of why we need to leave," Everett said with a shrug.

Eden nodded slightly. “What if not all of us left? I know you want everyone to but how do you think it would affect this place and the doctors. What has you set on convincing everyone other than the fact that you’d be helping them? Or is that the reason?” She asked.

"It's not me that wants everyone out, it's Jacoby. I'm ready to leave with him any chance that we get, he's the softie that doesn't wanna leave anyone here," Everett grumbled. He's tried telling his friend it's not worth it, but he just won't listen to him.

Eden nodded slightly. “Alright then.” She agreed quietly. It surprised her a bit that Everett had stuck around just because of Jacoby but figured they’d been so close for long enough that it make sense.

"Yeah, so we gotta get everyone on board with us as quick as possible. I wanna get the hell outta here and I'm not leaving without Jacoby," Everett said. He had become quite attached to the other guy while he had been here, he was almost like a brother to him at this point.

Eden nodded. “Fair enough. He seems pretty attached to you as well.” She commented quietly. “you’ll be able to get out. Hopefully soon.”

Stella had listened in a bit from their room when she heard the four of them talking but she then followed after Eden and Everett. She went into the library under the pretense of looking for a book. She listened to them talk for a bit before wanting to jump in. She came over to the tables. “Hey. Umm. Can I join you guys for a moment?”

Everett nodded, sighing a little bit and going to say more when Stella suddenly came outta nowhere. He glanced at Eden before back at Stella, wondering if she had heard."Um, sure."

Stella nodded. “Cool thanks. You were talking about strange abilities. Well, Albany’s hair changes color on its own. Does that qualify as weird?” She mentioned bluntly.

Eden raised an eyebrow at stellas interruption and then made a few notes about what she’d just mentioned. To her, that definitely qualified as another weird thing.

Everett listened to her as she spoke, his eyebrows raising when she mentioned Albany's hair."I'm sorry, her hair changes color on it's own?" That's something he's never heard about before...

Stella nodded. “Yeah. She was brushing her hair. It changed from like a lilac to a deep blue. Kinda weird. She says it’s always done that. Especially on the ends but it’s changed all over before.” She explained quietly.

Eden glanced between Stella and Everett as they talked.
