Vivian did take a seat at the table next to Eden, but she did not talk to her. She was still kinda afraid to after yesterday honestly since it seemed to her that Eden didn't like her. She just wasn't sure what she had done.

"Kinda because he's also kinda annoying," Albany replied to her, looking up when Payton and Shane came downstairs to join the rest of them.

Payton yawned as he got down the steps, scratching the back of his head.
"Oh man I'm sleepy," he complained.

[Fallen]

Eden glanced around quietly as the others all joined them for breakfast, noticing the other guy who must be Shane. She bit her lip lightly.

Stella shrugged. “Uhh. Alright then.” She agreed, not seeing Shane as annoying. He just went from 100 to 0 really quick which was sometimes hard to keep up with.

Shane came downstairs with Payton, glancing over to Eden and offering a polite smile before Taking his seat. He glanced to Albany. “I can be lots more annoying if you’d like.” He offered.

Jacoby was almost the last one downstairs, bringing Everett with him.

Albany looked at Shane when he came down and took his seat, it happening to be right next to hers. She moved her foot under the table and kicked his leg, not really all that hard though.
"Shut up," she said, sighing.

"Someone's cranky," Payton said in a sing song voice, chuckling when Albany sent a glare over to him.

Everett followed Jacoby down to the dining room, letting him take the seat next to Vivian and he took the one next to him.

Vivian smiled gently at everyone who came down."Good morning guys."

[Fallen]

Shane chuckled a bit. “Yeah. Ow. You’re not supposed to kick people.” He muttered to her.

Eden watched them all quietly. She glanced at Everett and Jacoby when they joined them just before the doctors brought breakfast out.

Jacoby sat down with them all. “Good morning.” He replied to Vivian.

"Want me to do it again?" Albany challenged him, sitting back further in her seat. Really she was not that intimidating at all, not even standing at 5 feet tall, she was quite the small girl.

"Did you sleep well?" Vivian asked Jacoby, ignoring what was going on on the other side of the table.

Dr. Orland brought out all of the food for the morning, her having made omelettes so she served them individually to everyone, giving Albany a little look so she would, hopefully, behave herself.
"Let me go get the juice for you guys," she said after she passed out the food to everyone.

Shane shrugged. “Go ahead. I don’t care.” He replied easily. He knew she could be dangerous but wasn’t all that worried about it.

Jacoby nodded. “Yeah. What about you?” He asked back kindly, smiling at her.

Eden thanked the doctor when she set her plate in front of her, biting her lip lightly. She waited till she saw the others start eating before taking a couple bites.

Albany glared at him, totally going to do it again but that was when the doctor gave her the look. She ceased her movements and just sat down still in her chair, arms still crossed over her chest.

"It was a little rough, but I went and got a sleeping pill from them. I don't even remember falling asleep after that," Vivian said with a small giggle.

[Fallen]

Shane smiled a bit and shook his head at her pouting. He listened to the others talk as he started eating.

Jacoby smiled faintly and nodded. "Those always help. I dunno how but they knock us all out pretty well." He agreed, starting to eat his omelette.

"I don't really know, but I'm grateful for them none the less," Vivian replied, looking up when Dr. Orland came back with their drinks, setting them down in front of them. She had actually learned what all of them preferred to drink.

"Which do you like sweetie?" she asked Eden with a smile,"Do you want milk, apple juice or orange juice?"

[Fallen]

Jacoby nodded in agreement. He glanced at Dr. Orland and thanked her when she set the glass of apple juice in front of him.

"Just water please, if that's alright." Eden answered quietly, glancing at her. She bit her lip lightly as she watched her.

"Of course," Dr. Orland replied with a smile, going to get that for her and returning a moment later, setting it down next to her plate,"There you go sweetie."

Vivian glanced at the doctor as well, smiling. Dr. Orland was only here Tuesday through Friday in the mornings and she loved having her here. She was so sweet and nice. Most of the other doctors were nice as well, but Dr. Orland was just the nicest by far.

Eden nodded. "Thank you." She replied politely. She ate a few more small bites of her breakfast, still not feeling very hungry. She hoped that wouldn't affect too much in terms of not having to stay there very long.

Shane chatted with the others while they all ate breakfast.

Dr. Orland nodded and went over to Everett next, seeing that his hair was messed up as bit and she smoothed it back a little.
"Apple or orange today Everett?" she question since he changed it up.

Everett tensed up immediately when his hair was touched, obviously not a fan of that, but he also, surprisingly, didn't freak out or push the doctor away.
"Apple," he quickly grumbled so the doctor would leave him alone, which she did once she set the drink down and left the clean up the kitchen a bit.

Eden tilted her head slightly as she watched the doctor’s interactions with Everett. If he, the guy who seem to hate everyone, was okay with the doctor then she must not be that bad. She kept her mouth shut though, listening to the conversations go around her. A part of her thought that she should probably try and open up to them but she also just wanted out of there still, not thinking she was bad enough to have to stay.

Everett relaxed a little bit once the doctor was out of the room, sighing a little bit and reaching for his juice, downing about half of it.

Albany took note of his silent it was at the table and she sighed, slouching a little bit in her seat. She didn't exactly like anyone here but Jesus, the silent was gonna kill her.
"What school are you from?" she questioned the new girl, looking over at her from her spot.

Eden glanced over when Albany spoke to her. She answered quietly with the name of the school. “I don’t see how that’s important now though, given that I’m pretty sure I’ll be in school with you all now.” She commented carefully.

Jacoby and Shane chatted easily with each other, trying to pull some of the others in to their conversation but they didn’t push it that much.

"Just curious," Albany replied, recognizing the school,"I went to the private school that was down the street from there." She had hated it there, always wanted to go to the public school instead, but had never been allowed.

Eden nodded. “I dunno why. It was a total mess there.” She muttered. “One little panic attack and they call 911 and ship me here.” She replied quietly, maybe understating what really had happened to get her sent there.

Albany raised an eyebrow at her words, chuckling a little bit."Yeah schools will do that to you. You freak out once and they follow suit, do something drastic like...ship you off to something like this shit hole."

"I dunno if I would call this place a shit hole," Payton said around his food, thinking for a moment,"More like a...home run by a really strict grandma."

(Ah. I see. That’s cause I misread your previous reply and thought Albany said something about wanting to go to public school instead. I just now caught that. Sorry)

“Pretty much. Or they freak out a lot and make a huge deal about it.” Eden agreed quietly. She glanced at Payton. “Feels more like a prison I think.” She admitted quietly.

Jacoby rolled his eyes. “You all are kinda dramatic.”

Payton shrugged his shoulders, accepting the girls options. He looked at Jacoby when he spoke and chuckled.
"Hey I don't think my comparison was that bad. Grandma's are nice, most of the time," he said, taking another bite of his food.

Jacoby smiled a bit. “Fair point. But it’s not that strict. Sure, we have things we have to do and our meds and what not but it’s a lot better than some places out there.” He commented to them all, always trying to be a bit optimistic

"You have good points there," Payton replied, finishing up his breakfast a moment later and he finished the rest of his juice.

"Have you been somewhere before this?" Vivian asked Jacoby out of curiosity. She hadn't and she wasn't sure if the others had at all either.

Eden finished up her food and got up. She took her plate and glass to the kitchen.


Jacoby nodded. “Yeah I’ve gone through a couple other places before they finally found here as a good option for me.”

Dr. Orland was cleaning up in there when Eden came in with her plate and she looked back at her with a smile.
"All done sweetie? Just...set that in the sink. I'll get to it in a second," she said.

Vivian listened to this and nodded, feeling bad for him."That doesn't sound very fun. This is the first place that they sent me to...I'm glad this was the one they chose."

Eden nodded but didn’t listen. She took her plate to the sink and started washing the dishes that were there, not wanting to go back with the others.

Jacoby smiled and shrugged. “Yeah. It was okay. Definitely a learning experience but I think it was good.”

Dr. Orland looked at her when she started that and smiled."Thank you sweetie, that's very nice of you." She continued to clean up the counter more, putting away everything she had used to make breakfast and wipe the counter down as she went.

Vivian nodded at his words, smiling a little and continued eating her food.

Everett was finished next, but he did not get up to put his plate in the sink. Not wanting to be alone with the doctor and Eden in there.

Eden nodded slightly. “It gives me something to do at least.” She said quietly. She kept cleaning up all the dishes before putting them in the rack to dry.

Jacoby nodded. He finished his food and stood up. He glanced at Everett. “Want me to take your plate?” He offered.

Everett looked at him when he offered that, shrugging."Yeah, thanks." He said, picking it up and handing it off to him.

Albany also finished and she stood up, gathering her plate and bringing it into the kitchen. She noticed Eden doing the dishes and she went over, setting hers on the counter.
"Should I leave this here for you or...?" she asked, not going to mind at all if Eden wanted to clean her dishes.

Jacoby nodded, taking his plate and Everett’s to the kitchen. He glanced at Eden cleaning up, surprised that she’d started helping out when she seemed to despise the place so much.

Eden nodded. “Yeah. That’s fine.” She agreed quietly, glancing at her.

Albany shrugged her shoulders, fine with that so she exited the kitchen and went back upstairs to her room to get ready for the day.

Vivian was pretty much the last person to be eating still, she was just a really slow eater. But Payton stayed in there with her making small talk so she wouldn't feel alone.

Eden quietly took care of all the dishes. She was ready for the day so figured she might as well help and keep busy.

Shane stayed in the dining room with them as well, chatting so Vivian wouldn’t be alone. Plus, he was still eating as well, taking his time so he wouldn’t make himself sick.

It was a few minutes later when Vivian finally finished her food, drinking the rest of her juice as well.
"You feeling okay Shane?" she asked the other guy, knowing that he had been eating slowly so he didn't get himself sick.

Shane nodded. “I’m better than I was yesterday so yeah.” He assured with a gentle smile. He finished up his food and glanced over at her.

"Good," Vivian replied, standing up from her seat and gathering up their plates,"I'll take care of these, you guys can head upstairs and start getting ready for the day."

Patyon let her take his plate and he nodded."Thanks Effie." He stood up and waited for Shane to come along before walking back upstairs with him.

Shane nodded and thanked her. He stood and followed Payton back to their room so they could get ready for the day.

Eden finished up most of the dishes by the time Vivian brought in the last ones. She thanked her quietly and took them to wash as well.

Payton opened up the door once they got in there, motioning over to the bathroom."You wanna shower first?"

Vivian looked at Eden when she came in, letting her take the dishes from her."Thank you." She sighed afterwards, not wanting to leave the kitchen yet. She didn't want things to be weird between them. Yeah they weren't friends...but they were gonna be sharing that room until one of them left.

Shane shrugged. “Sure.” He got together what he needed before ducking into their shared bathroom to get ready. He took a quick shower and got dressed.

Eden nodded. “It’s the least I can do until I get assigned chores or however it works.” She replied, glancing at her. She washed up the last of the dishes.

Payton watched as he moved to the bathroom, doing him a favor while he was in there and making both of their beds. The doctors don't exactly make them do this, but he liked to do it anyways. He also organized the room just a little bit while he was waiting to get into the shower himself.

Vivian nodded at the explanation, nervously playing with her pajama pants."U-um....Eden? I'm sorry....about yesterday. If I was being...pushy. I should've probably given you...more space."

Shane came out a short bit later. “Thanks for straightening up.”


“It’s okay. I know that is probably an adjustment for you as well now that you have me as a roommate. Don’t worry about being a bother or anything to me, I’m the one who’s invading your space.” Eden assured her without looking over.

Payton looked over when he stepped out of the room, shaking his head."No problem, I don't mind. I'm gonna hop in there now." He exited into the bathroom then and began showering.

Vivian listened, shaking her head a little bit."It isn't a bother at all, I don't mind having a roommate. I figured it would be....kinda nice." She was silent for a moment longer before she shrugged."I'll leave you to it then..." She left the kitchen afterwards to go clean up for the day.

Shane nodded. He finished getting ready but stayed in the room so they could head back down together for their class work and everything.

Eden raised an eyebrow before nodding. “Alright. Then we’ll work on being decent roommates for each other.” She assured quietly. She finished all the dishes, drying and putting them away.

Payton didn't take too long in the shower, about 10 minutes before he was out of the room and dressed. He was just trying to dry off the last bit of his hair, since it was kinda thick.

Shane glanced at him when he returned. “You might as well give that up. Your hair never cooperates and dries how you want it to.” He commented lightly with a smile. He stood up and stretched

"I knoooow," Payton replied with a whined, chuckling afterwards. He stopped drying his hair for the moment, giving a glance in the mirror as he tried to smooth it out with his fingers."I swear my hair has a mind of it's own."

Shane chuckled a bit. “You could cut it short and try again?” He suggested with a light smile. “Or just let it do what it wants cause it’s gonna do that anyways. Other than that though, you almost ready to head back downstairs?”

"I look so dumb with short hair though, you know this," Payton replied, doing the best he could with it before he straightened up,"Yeah I'm ready." He followed him out of their room and downstairs. passing by the girls as they were going back down as well."What's Eden gonna do today Effie?"

Vivian looked over at him when he asked."Oh um, I think Dr. Orland is gonna stay with her most of the day while we're in class."

Shane rolled his eyes. "Okay. We'll get you a wig then." He teased. "Maybe like a rainbow afro one?" He suggested with a grin. He went downstairs with them. "I'm sure that's going to go over great with Eden based on her moods so far." He commented sarcastically.

Eden had finished cleaning up the whole kitchen but didn't leave, not knowing if she was supposed to go back to her room or what really, and she didn't want to ask them to figure it out either.
