Eden nodded slightly as she listened to him. “Okay. Good to know.” She agreed faintly. It wasn’t an extremely strict schedule but it was definitely structured and it seemed like they’d make them stick to it pretty strongly. She glanced around all the rooms as they walked.

Payton nodded and walked with her into the t.v area that they had, seeing Everett sitting down on the couch there. He didn't say anything to him though, just let him do what he was doing."This is our t.v area. We can use it during our free time and there are certain channels in the t.v we can watch. Movies too, but if you wanna watch anything in there you have to get a doctors approval first," he explained, showing how the DVDs were all locked up.
Eden nodded. She glanced at the tv before at the locked up movies. “Good to know. They control everything like a prison.” She muttered. She glanced at Everett for a moment, wondering what anger issues he had and more about everyone stories too.

"In a way yeah, I guess that's a good comparison," Payton replied with a chuckle, pointing to the backdoor,"That's locked as well, though with a doctors permission we can go out there for a little bit at a time. Don't think about it being a possible escape route though. There are camera they'll be watching you from while you're out there and theres a pretty damn high fence around the back as well."
Eden rolled her eyes. “Great. Is there anything else I have to see or can I just go to my room now?” She asked quietly, looking around them. She hated the idea that the doctors could watch them all the time.

"Slow down there, I haven't even shown you the rest of upstairs yet. C'mon," Payton said, walking back the way that they came and started up the steps. He understood her frustration, he was always in a bad mood his first month here. But, well, you just come to accept it after a while.
Eden sighed softly. She followed him upstairs, looking around and finding the more obvious cameras that were everywhere. “what even is up here besides classrooms and bedrooms?” She muttered quietly.

"Well the classrooms are actually downstairs, a little room just off of the living room. Up here are the doctors offices," Payton said, pointing to them once they were up the stairs,"So that's where they work and where we go for our therapy sessions as well, a few times a week they pull us from class for some one on one talking."
Eden nodded slightly. She glanced at the closed doors and sighed. The place was better than the hospital but not by very much. She just had to pretend though and maybe she’d be able to get out.

"So the side of the doctors offices, thats the boys side so our rooms are over there. And then over here is the girls side," Payton said, moving over to that side and pointing to the first room with was actually glass on the wall instead of the wall,"This is the library we have here."
Eden nodded slightly. She glanced in the library and smiled weakly. It actually seemed like a relatively okay space, better than the rest of the rooms thus far. “What’s the rules in terms of taking books and whatever?” She asked curiously.

"Well they prefer you to keep the books in the library, but if you take one to your room they're not gonna say anything. Just don't make a collection of books in your room. They do check every week, count the books and log any damage done to them. So don't go stealing or ripping up the books is what I'm trying to say," Payton said with a chuckle.
Eden rolled her eyes. “I might hear voices but I’m not destructive.” She muttered lowly, sighing. She knew he was probably just trying to be funny but she didn’t really find it all that funny. She was stuck in essentially a prison with a whole bunch or moody teenagers.

"Never said you were darlin," Payton replied to her, putting his hands up in surrender,"Vivian will help you go through everything else tomorrow probably so you can go back to your room if you want." He wasn't gonna keep her any longer, he had shown her around like Vivian had asked of him.
Eden nodded, sighing softly. “Thank you for showing me around.” She mumbled politely before walking away and finding her way back to the room she shared with Vivian.

"No problem," Payton replied, watching her go before he went back into his own room to check on Shane, see if he was still doing okay.Vivian was still in the room when Eden came back, sitting there and messing around with her Gameboy. She gave the slightest glance up when she heard the door but quickly averted her eyes down.
Shane had slept for a little bit before waking up and eating the food Jacoby had brought him. He was just finishing up when Payton came back in. “Hey..” he mumbled softly. Eden came into the room quietly and sat on the floor by her bags. She hadn’t gotten a say in what her parents packed for her so she figured she should check and get organized before trying to sleep more.

Payton was quite opening up the door just in case he was still asleep, but he was awake from the moment. Smiling at him, he shut the door once he was inside."Hey, how are you feeling?" he asked him, glad to see that he had eaten all of his dinner.
Shane set his plate aside. “I’m feeling okay. Just tired as I said earlier. Don’t know why I’m so exhausted..” he mumbled, stretching his arms over his head. “I heard we’ve got a new person joining us, how are they adjusting so far?”

Payton went over and sat on the edge of Shane's bed, nodding. He was wondering about it as well, what was going on with him?"Yeah her name is Eden. She's not doing so hot," he replied with a small sigh,"But you know I get it, she's stressed out. She doesn't wanna be here, clearly."
Shane nodded. “I mean none of us really want to be here so it makes sense.” He shrugged. “At least she hasn’t broken anything yet at least that I’ve heard. That’s a start.”

"Of course not," Payton replied, nodding,"Yeah she could be worse, like when Albany got here. That was a shit storm for sure." He chuckled at the memory of the first week the girl was here. The catfight that here and a previous girl Leiha had gotten into just two days in. Thankfully the girl was much calmer now.
Shane nodded slightly. “Then she’ll be alright. I’ll probably go say hello to her later or maybe tomorrow” he shrugged at him. “Hopefully she goes easy on Viv though.”

Payton nodded, sighing at his words about Vivian."Too late for that. She's already upset her at least once already. I just hope she apologized to her. But I also hope that after a few days she's ease up a little bit you know, realize that we're not as bad as she thinks."
Shane sighed and nodded. “Alright. Her issue is probably with the situation, not with us though. We’re all in the same boat to a point and are stuck in this together.” He commented softly. “Hopefully they’ll get along..”

Remember when Vivian tried?" Payton replied, chuckling at the memory. At the time it wasn't all that funny, but thinking back on it it's pretty great.

Shane nodded. “Oh yeah. That was funny.” He agreed with a smile. “Not for her but that was a mess. I think if Eden saw everyone avoiding him, she’d be smart and do the same. But I don’t know..”

(( I can! :3 ))Vivian grumbled as she heard her alarm go off for the day, opening her eyes slowly and taking a moment to actually process that it was her alarm.
"Alright alright," she sighed, reaching for it and shutting it off, groaning afterwards. She was mostly pretty decent with waking up in the morning but she had taken a sleeping pill last night after she hadn't been able to easily fall asleep. So now she was groggy.
Eden was already wide awake, barely having slept. She’d gotten dressed and ready for the day before sitting back on her bed while she waited for everyone else to be up before leaving her room. She didn’t want to get in trouble.

It took Vivian a second to get her bearing together but she did sit up after a moment, rubbing at her eyes. Looking over to Eden's bed, she was a little surprised to see her already dressed and ready for the day."How long have you been up?" she questioned her.
"Uhh, two hours? At least." She mumbled in reply, shrugging at her. "I couldn't sleep.." Eden added after a moment. "I figured we're probably not allowed downstairs until after 7 though.."

Vivian raised her eyebrow in a bit of shock at her words though nodded after a moment. She got it."I'm gonna use the bathroom really quick and then we can go down for breakfast," she said through a yawn, standing up from her bed and moving slowly into the bathroom in their room.
Eden nodded. She stayed sitting on her bed and waited patiently for her to return before following her downstairs. Stella had gotten up a bit early, heading downstairs to their dining room while the doctors worked on breakfast. She didn't wait for Albany, choosing to avoid her when possible since she was usually grumpy first thing in the morning.

(( Cool thanks! Sorry I probably should have told you that haha ))Vivian didn't take long in the bathroom, just brushed her teeth and fixed her hair before coming out. She did walk downstairs with Eden, though she didn't actually talk to her on the way down.
Once the two girls had gotten downstairs, one of the doctors was fixing up the table a little bit and she smiled when she saw Eden.
"Eden, hello. My name is Dr. Orland," she greeted herself. She seemed like a kind enough woman.
((It's all good :) I'm learning)Eden followed her downstairs. She nodded slightly to the doctor that spoke to her. "Hello." She greeted quietly, glancing her over. She wondered how many different doctors there were there and if they stayed there all the time or what their schedule was.

Eden shrugged. "Well, I didn't sleep more like 3 hours so not that great." She answered in a quiet mumble. She came over and sat down at the table.Stella rolled her eyes at the face Albany made, keeping quiet.

One of us is always gonna be awake and we can give you something to help sleep.""What?" Albany whispered to Stelled, crossing her arms over her chest,"I don't like her." To be fair, Albany didn't like any of the doctors.
Eden tilted her head slightly at the actual concern. “I don’t want to bother you guys. And it’s kinda the norm.” She admitted quietly. She shrugged at the doctor. “Besides. I don’t really know any of you..”Stella shrugged. “I don’t think you like anyone honestly..” she commented

But of course you don't have to if you don't want to." She sent her another kind smile before going back into the kitchen to get breakfast out for all of them."Hey not true....I like Jacoby," Albany replied, frowning a little bit,"And Shane...kinda."
Eden shrugged and didn’t answer. She was still adjusting and trying to understand everything with the house. It was a struggle because everything seemed weird and just not what she’d expected. “You have a crush on Jacoby. That’s different. And I don’t know why you only kinda like Shane. He’s pretty nice and friendly to all of us.”
"Yeah so basically everyone is meant to wake up at 7 o'clock every morning, 7:30 is breakfast. From 7:30 to 8:30, it's time to take showers, get ready for the day, that kinda stuff. 8:30-11:00 is class time, then 11:-12:30 we work on our chores. 12:30-1:00 is lunch and then back to classes 1:00-4:00. Then work on our chores until 5, which is dinner. 5-9 is free time, everyone needs to be in their rooms by 9 and then 10 o'clock is lights out," he explained to her, not expecting her to remember it all, but at least she could get a feel for what the timing is like throughout the day.
