I have recently self-published a duology in the genealogy fiction genre. The books deal with the new phenomenon of people having their DNA tested. The fiction novels deal with family secrets and lies too big to ignore revealed from DNA tests.
My husband and I are currently homeless, by choice, and that has added a bit of complexity to the self-publication and promotion of my books.
My books are titled The Lie and Where Truth Lies.
Would love to chat with you!
Heather

I'd be interested as I'm planning to launch my next novel on Amazon in April.
I currently have a spy novel on Amazon, called "An Expendable Spy" which sold well for me when I launched it. However this next novel, Death Comes Calling", is a UK (London) based police procedural novel taken from the first person POV of the main character, a detective called John Gore. "Death Comes Calling" will be the first in a crime series around the London detective, John Gore.
Tom Greer (PS this is my pen name, my actual surname is Jackson)

Thank you.

My first novel, Blue Rubber Pool, was published by a small traditional press in 2017, and this summer the same group will publish my second, The Stained Glass Mustang. I'm currently polishing a third.
Blue Rubber Pool, a memoir in disguise, is about a guy who leaves his shady job in the Caribbean to follow a Southern belle home to her family's generations-old plantation house in rural South Carolina. Things do not go well...And then he receives a package from his buddies back on The Money Trail.
The Stained Glass Mustang is about a Charleston business executive whose drinking causes him to lose everything: job, home, family. His future looks grim until he inherits a muscle car with a strange paint job. His only client, a scammer selling car parts on the internet, wants the car to whitewash a soiled reputation while his new girlfriend, a Catholic Honduran, says using the car unwisely would be an insult to God.
All my stories relate to the search for self in a world fraught with unexpected obstacles and tests in the Tug of War between Good and Evil.
Thanks for your consideration.

This month I published How to Commit Suicide on Amazon. It follows two people from very different walks of life on healing journeys out of hopelessness and suicidal despair.
Woven through their stories, a week of special episodes of a nationally syndicated talk show features a panel of experts discussing a new best seller offering concrete steps people considering ending their own lives can do to reinvent them into new, better ones. Guests and audience members offer stories from people who had considered, attempted, or lost loved ones to suicide.
My goal with this book is that those feeling hopeless about their own lives will be inspired to try rebuilding them into ones they will love.

You can read Chapter 1 of Whisperwood on my site.
Background: Have you ever wondered if the memories of your ancestors inhabit your soul? I knew nothing of my great-grandfather's life until I was 12 and my mother gave me a typed booklet entitled: The Life and Times of Anderson Flowers Temple, written by my grandfather. When reading I found myself in a mystical space where I felt Anderson was speaking directly to me. For many years I've wanted to bring his story to life and that's what Whisperwood does. It's a soldier's view of war, not a general's perspective.
Let me know if you’re interested. Thanks.
