message 80: by Amy (new)

Amy Fredlund | 190 comments Hey Omnibus Bookers! (For those of whom have forgotten, or have not had the pleasure of meeting me- I am the rare species that goes by the name of Amy. I appear very rarely, but am always here in spirit! ~_^ Anywho, onto my current quest!) I need your help! What Dystopians would you recommend for a 14 year old girl? She's read Hunger Games, just finished the Divergent series, and has just started up The Maze Runner.
And fantasy type books for an 11 year old boy who is halfway through the Harry Potter series?
I was thinking Percy Jackson, and the Michael Vey series' for Zale (The 11 Y.O.), and The Lunar Chronicles for both of them.
What other suggestions do you have for me? Thanks! ^_^

message 85: by Amy (new)

Amy Fredlund | 190 comments I was thinking about Eragon, but I think Amaya and Zale might be a little bored with that series at this time, with how much war is in it- at least the second and in anyway, but I was thinking Ammon might enjoy it. :)

I'm slowly plugging away at Lady Midnight. How is Court of Thorns and Roses? I've been exhausted bc I'm puppy sitting and only reading when I'm trying to fall asleep. Makes it slow going. I have so many books I'd like to get to soon. I will probably read more since I'm done for the week after Monday. I'd really like to start Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon and Room by Emma Donoghue so I can watch the movies.
