Who has read Sanditon ? What do you think about the way the story has been continued knowing that Austen died before finishing it ?

I started watching the short series without knowing that it was inspired by a Jane Austen's book. But it didn't take me too long to feel the Jane Austen world and I was like "this movie is almost a copy of her world". Did some research and found that actually she wrote that book or more exactly its beginning as she died before finishing it. Austen always had the theme of independence of women but always (I think) a happy ending, which is not really the case in that one. What do you think about the ending that has been given to Austen's beginning of the story? Is the message she give us inn her other books respected ?
