In addition I plan to read some of my own choice as the fancy takes me and the recommendations from the club.

I've copied the entries from your updated list (message 26) into my spreadsheet, Richard. If you update them again, let me know by posting to this thread. (I won't be alerted to any change if you just edit the post.)
I noticed The Dispossessed was in two different lists in case you wanted to delete one entry. Also, I see a lot of books in your list that we read in these challenge group reads in 2014 - sorry this year ended up being so busy for you we would have enjoyed having you in those discussions!

1. The Martian
2. The Mote in God's Eye
3. The Name of the Wind
4. Ancillary Justice
5. The Caves of Steel
6. The Black Pri..."
Some of those are all time favorites of mine... Dune, Mote, Childhood's, and Fire Upon the Deep. I don't know how you can read that many! I'm falling asleep after 1/2 chapter these days... and that's on a good day! :-)

Guess I'm lucky in that being retired now I can spend quite a few hours a day reading. I can normally read two books per week, sometimes more!

lol-I maybe should wait and read it with you!

"
It sounds like I'm missing out. Are you going to reread it?

Yow, a "Challenge" it would be. I am at 61 total from our bookshelf right now. With my 2015 goal of 24, I hope to not technically "fall behind". Read them all, well, that is a pretty lofty goal, at least for me.

LOL, that was the first line for last year's group challenge to read as many of the books as you can, with a minimum goal of 12 for the challenge. I just loved the wording. :)
But, I hope, maybe someday, I will have read them all.

Trust me, they aren't all good.

Yep, will be doing that tomorrow.
